The Last Jedi took Rey and Kylo's relationship to the next level with the introduction of the Force connection. The two were able to see each other across the galaxy, and this allowed them to communicate and get to know each other without fighting, or one of them having to be restrained for conversation to take place.
Rey and Kylo Ren have always been connected with a type of Force-bond. When the two came face to face in the interrogation chamber in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, they were each able to see into the other's mind without much effort.
The passage in the book reads as follows: "His heart was full as Rey reached for his face, let her fingers linger against his cheek. And then, wonder of wonders, she leaned forward and kissed him. A kiss of gratitude, acknowledgement of their connection, celebration that they'd found each other at last.
There's no question that Rey and Kylo Ren shared a special relationship, but was it romantic? When Rey kissed Ben, who shed the identity of Kylo Ren upon his return to the light, at the end of The Rise of Skywalker, the act would seem to indicate that Rey loved Ben romantically.
Ben Solo/Kylo Ren. Ben Solo is the love of Rey's life. Initially unknown to Rey, she forms a dyad in the Force with Ben. The dyad is an unbreakable Force-bond that makes them one in the Force, despite being born as two physically separated individuals.
The lightsaber's redesign was a byproduct of the bleeding process that damaged its kyber crystal, rendering it dangerously flawed and unstable, and necessitating the lateral vents were meant to prevent the cracked kyber crystal from overloading.
“So Leia Force projects herself as Ben and uses her life force to save Rey. Even going as far as to kiss Rey to convince her it's Ben. It's why when Ben disappeared, so did Leia.”
It seems that with his last ounce of strength, Ben gave what was remaining of his life energy to save Rey. This was his last sacrifice, effectively acting as redemption to return him to the light side of the Force. That is why his body vanished, as Jedi like Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi and Leia did before him.
Do Rey and Kylo have kids? She does not have a baby bump, her hand never goes to her stomach to indicate she's carrying a child, and there wasn't exactly any time for her to have conceived a child with anyone in the course of the film, including Kylo Ren/Ben Solo.
A crystal embodies the Jedi as the heart of the lightsaber, and pure kyber has no color until it's bonded to the Force user. This process likely resulted in Rey Skywalker's lightsaber being yellow.

Ben Solo Sacrifices Himself
In order to defeat the Emperor, Rey is forced to use all of the energy she has left, dying in the process. Fortunately for her, Ben survived being thrown into a chasm by the Emperor and can save her. To do so, he must sacrifice what life energy he has left to revive her.
He believed they had a connection. He saw her at her most vulnerable, and thought that if he offered to fill her her desire for belonging, she would immediately turn for him. Kylo loves Rey, in some twisted way at the least. He thought she loved him back enough to turn.

Throughout her encounters with Kenobi in the series, he refers to himself as Ben. The most straightforward explanation would be that Leia knows the person who rescued her is Ben, and never connected the dots that Ben is actually Obi-Wan.
