Odin was/is a god of war. There's more than one. His fear of Ragnarok and his attempts to prevent its coming are really what brought it about.
Fear of Loss
The poem "Grimnismal" offers a clue. Odin expresses fear that one day his ravens won't return. If Hugin represents his mental state, losing him would mean losing his capacity for reason and action. But if Munin represents his will, losing him would be a descent into apathy and purposelessness.
Odin's *enemies* are, of course, mainly the Giants. Especially Fenrir, as Fenrir is prophesied to devour Odin at Ragnarök. Odin is also no longer a huge fan of Loki one can assume, as Loki tricked the blind god Hod/Hodr into killing Baldr, Odin's son.
He also was very close and regarded highly by the giants who were enemies of the Aesir. So Odin thought Tyr was a traitor and conspired with the giants to undermine the Aesir. So he imprisoned him but probably realized Tyr was more useful to him alive than dead.
Odin's enemy intel says that the best way to Pressure him is by "landing ATB commands, evading attacks, [and] inflicting detrimental status effects." He has a suite of immunities and also greater resistance to Poison, but he is more susceptible to the "De-" suite of spells.
If we follow the generations listed and apply a simple average of ~30 years per generation, the timeline places Odin around 2,000 years ago—roughly the same era as Jesus. Of course, not all sources agree: Some traditions say Odin came from Troy nearly 3,000 years ago.
In Old Norse texts, Fenrir plays a key role during the events of Ragnarök, where he is foretold to assist in setting the world aflame, resulting in the collapse of humanity and society, and killing the god Odin. Fenrir, along with Hel and Jörmungandr, is a child of Loki and female jötunn Angrboða.
Unable to cope with her husband's growing madness and his ever more despicable actions, Freya attempted to break free from Odin who, in a burst of madness, cursed the Vanir goddess and deprived her from her warrior spirit.
Prior to the release of God of War Ragnarök, many fans theorised that the player would be able to use Mjölnir after defeating Thor. While it is true that the hammer would have been an incredible asset for the player, it cannot be wielded or even picked up by Kratos (nor Atreus) for several reasons.

Saxa's name refers to that of the giant Járnsaxa. According to Poetic Edda, the first book to be recorded by Völuspá (the seer's prophecy about Ragnarök), Járnsaxa was Thor's lover and had a son with him, Magni.
Odin had become arrogant and stubborn and is simply not worthy to wield Mjolnir. Yeah, the enchantment on it was placed on the hammer by Odin, but this doesn't necessitate Odin always being worthy to wield the hammer.
On the other hand, Odin represents mental strength, with his wisdom and knowledge surpassing all others. Vidarr represents the strength of resilience and vengeance, showcasing his power through his actions during Ragnarok. So, who is the strongest Norse god? If we consider physical strength, then Thor takes the crown.
In the mythic future, Odin leads the einherjar at Ragnarök, where he is killed by the monstrous wolf Fenrir.
Homosexuality and bisexuality
Apollo, the god of sun and music, is considered the patron of same sex love, as he had many male lovers and was often invoked to bless homosexual unions. He is also called "the champion of male love" by Andrew Callimach.
Zeus is scared of Nyx for obvious reasons. She's a shadowy figure: the literal personification of the night. In fact, she is the only goddess that Zeus is on the record fearing. This says a lot, since the King of the Gods didn't even fear the wrath of his begrudging wife, Hera.
Spidey agonizes over everything, he feels guilty even when it's unwarranted. That doesn't make him a bad person, perhaps the opposite, but it does mean he isn't worthy to wield Mjolnir.
Godzilla durability and regeneration would likely beat Thor, maybe not kill but in a solo fight Godzilla wins. Also Thors hammer wouldn't effect Godzilla if he is worthy, which even as a beast he very well could be as he's the defender of the humans.
Loki is a god in Norse mythology. He is the son of Fárbauti (a jötunn) and Laufey (a goddess), and the brother of Helblindi and Býleistr.
Loki. Tricked blind god into killing Baldr. Taunted and pranked the gods so much that they tied him to a rock and dropped poison in his eyes for millennia.

Four gods, Thor, Baldr, Víðarr and Váli, are explicitly identified as sons of Odin in the Eddic poems, in the skaldic poems, in Saxo Grammaticus' Gesta Danorum, and in the Gylfaginning section of Snorri Sturluson's Prose Edda.
