After obtaining the Puppeteer Ninjutsu, Wolf is able to puppeteer the Rat near the kite mechanism at the beginning of Senpou Temple, then grapple through the kite, to access a plank from which he can plunge onto the head of the Serpent, killing it and obtaining the Fresh Serpent Viscera.

Shura ending
This is the earliest ending you can get in Sekiro. It's also the “bad” ending. Defeat the Guardian Ape, then retrieve the Lotus of the Palace. The lotus is in a cave behind the Sunken Valley > Guardian Ape's Watering Hole Sculptor's Idol — the idol that unlocks after you beat the Guardian Ape.

Jörmungandr is the Midgard Serpent (also World Serpent) in Norse mythology who encircles the realm of Midgard. He is the son of the god Loki and the giantess Angrboða and brother of the great wolf Fenrir and Hel, Queen of the Dead. At Ragnarök, the Twilight of the Gods, he slays and is slain by the god Thor.
The first reason we have to consider is the origins of them both. Thor came from the god tribe for he was the son of Odin the Allfather whom probably all of the giants hated the most in Norse Pantheon. Meanwhile, Jormungand was the son of Loki the Trickster who lived among the gods.
