Dr. Carlton Drake is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Riot) of the 2018 film Venom, the first installment of Sony's Spider-Man Universe.
Instead, the main antagonist of Venom is Dr. Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed), who obtains three symbiotes from outer space and who spends most of the movie trying to track down and capture Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy), who has bonded with the symbiote Venom.

After Secret Wars, Spider-Man takes the symbiote back home, and after a while, it leaves Peter's body and connects with Eddie Brock to become a new “Lethal Protector,” named Venom.
While Eddie Brock's Venom may not be the strongest here, he is recognizable and the most resilient Symbiote compared to many others. Even though he started out as a pure villain, Brock's Venom showed many heroic traits.
The bond between the Carnage symbiote and Kasady was stronger than the bond between Brock and the Venom symbiote. Cletus Kasady was also a serial killer and thought of as insane. As a result, Carnage is far more violent, powerful, and deadly than Venom.
As the fight with Venom reached the bell tower, Venom manages to rescue Anne in time and provokes Shriek to use her powers again; her sonic blast causes both symbiotes to separate from their hosts, but then Shriek falls to her death below as her scream dislodged the bell and crushes her.
