Behind the scenes. In the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, the Fat Lady is played by the late Elizabeth Spriggs. She is shown with black hair and a pink silk dress and she doesn't seem to have much personality.

Most sources assume that the fat lady refers to the Valkyrie Brunnhilde, whose ten minute solo draws the fourth of Richard Wagner's Ring Cycle operas to a close.
Sirius didn't exactly improve matters when he tried to sneak into the Gryffindor dormitory by slashing the Fat Lady's portrait. We later discovered that Sirius wasn't a bloodthirsty murderer at all, and simply wanted to get revenge on the real villain of the piece – the not-at-all-dead Peter Pettigrew.

Fat Lady had a much more active part in the third installment since Sirius Black attacked her. So when Alfonso Cuaron became the director, he gave the part to Dawn French, a comedian on British television.
The Fat Lady is a playable character in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, in which she, despite being opaque and not floating like ghosts, only has ghostly abilities (like scaring other characters).

To access the Hufflepuff Common Room, students must go via the Hogwarts kitchens, where they will find a 'pile of large barrels. ' Of these, 'The barrel two from the bottom, middle of the second row, will open if tapped in the rhythm of 'Helga Hufflepuff'. '
The entry password was "Pure-blood" when Draco Malfoy let them in. The Polyjuice Potion's wearing off prompted Harry and Ron to leave after staying nearly an hour, still not finding out the identity of the Heir of Slytherin, but they did learn that Malfoy was not the heir, as they originally thought.

Peter Pettigrew represents the worst Gryffindor in the entire Harry Potter series.
Angelina Johnson is a member of Gryffindor House. She is a tall black girl with long black hair, which she wears in plaits, and brown eyes. She is two years ahead of Harry, and plays Chaser for the Gryffindor Quidditch Team.

The words "god" and "oh god" can be heard. Ron says "bloody" and "bloody hell" a few times. Aunt Marge uses the word "bitch" while telling an anecdote about dogs comparing them to Harry and his mother in the first scene, but in the context of referring to a female dog rather than as an insult.

As was probably expected, Peter Pettigrew takes first place as the evilest Gryffindor, having betrayed some of his best friends to a mass murderer and framed another one for their murder. Peter is the proof that evil can truly come from any house, and is not limited to those from Slytherin.
Bem (born c. 1979-1980) was a Nigerian wizard who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1991 to 1998. He was sorted into Gryffindor and is in Harry Potter's year, however he does not dorm with Harry and friends.
The staircase to the girl's dormitory was enchanted so that if a boy attempted to enter the dormitory, a wailing klaxon went off and the staircase turned into a stone slide, sending them back to the Common Room.
Lily Potter was a talented Muggle-born witch, and the first in her family to go to Hogwarts - something that inspired great jealousy in her sister, Petunia. Sorted into Gryffindor along with James, after leaving school they married and had a son, Harry, who had his mother's eyes.
At Hogwarts, she, along with her sisters, was sorted into Slytherin. It is suggested in the novels that, as a student, Bellatrix associated with a group of students – including Rodolphus Lestrange, Severus Snape, Avery, Evan Rosier and Wilkes – who nearly all became Death Eaters.
So how are Sirius and the Weasleys related? Phineas Nigellus Black is Sirius' great-great-grandfather and Arthur's great-grandfather, making the two men second cousins once removed. (Sirius correctly notes the relationship in Order of the Phoenix.)
