Big Mom is the oldest Yonko in the One Piece story.
The Yonko is a group of four pirates, namely Blackbeard, Shanks, Kaido, and Big Mom. However, after the events of Whole Cake Island, Monkey D. Luffy was portrayed by the World Economy News Paper as the Fifth Emperor of the Sea.
Currently, the Emperors are Red-Haired Shanks, Blackbeard, Straw Hat Luffy, and Buggy the Star Clown; Whitebeard, Big Mom, and Kaidou of the Beasts are the former known members. The Four Emperors are not typically allies, nor are they strictly enemies of one another.
It is highly theorized shiki was a yonko before attacking MF and shanks took the abdicated title from him upon amassing his crew power and fame.

He is known to be extremely difficult to hurt and throughout his life, only Kozuki Oden and his nine retainers have managed to hurt him.
There's little doubt that Zoro is not yet at a Yonko level. This is highlighted by his match-up against King instead of Big Mom during Onigashima. Although Zoro could likely ascend to this level one day, he's definitely not there yet and is consequently unable to defeat Kaido at this time.
Mihawk has fought many friendly duels with Shanks(one of the Yonko) and they both use swords as their weapon . Mihawk is a better swordsman than Shanks ,but Shanks has powerful haki and many other attacks . Though my point is that Mihawk has the potential to beat a Yonko.

His Observation Haki is impeccable to the point that he can clearly see all of Luffy's high-speed movements. His bounty is higher than three of the current Yonko, and in terms of overall strength, he and Shanks are fairly equal.
Putting this into context, Whitebeard was considered stronger than all the original Yonko and even the extremely powerful marine Admirals. He had the strongest devil fruit, led a massive crew with multiple commanders, and was highly rated by former Fleet Admiral Sengoku the Buddha.

After Luffy, Kid and Law defeated both Kaido and Big Mom, Luffy and Buggy were officially declared as the new emperors alongside Blackbeard and Shanks in the news.
The Balance of the Three Great Powers has always portrayed the Yonko to be incredibly powerful and stronger than the Admirals. To put it simply, the Yonko are balanced out by an alliance between the SSG (formerly the Shichibukai) and the Naval forces.
