The evil Black Doom, leader of the Black Arms, was Shadow's arch-nemesis and at the same time biological father, as his DNA was used to create the hedgehog.
When shadow debuted in Sonic adventure 2 for the dreamcast (later ported to the gamecube as sonic adventure 2 battle)he was an evil character,yet every game has made him good at the end. Shadow has more of a friendly rivalry with sonic but in this game shadow is willing to kill to find out his past.
The game Sonic Adventure 2 introduced Shadow as a genetically engineered "Ultimate Lifeform" who wants the entire world to pay for the death of a girl who meant everything to him. As is his nature, Sonic inevitably gets caught up in this vengeful anger before helping Shadow see the light.

Shadow the Hedgehog (シャドウ・ザ・ヘッジホッグ, Shadō za Hejjihoggu?) is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an anthropomorphic hedgehog/Black Arms hybrid who resembles Sonic the Hedgehog in many ways and serves as his arch-rival and occasional ally.
After witnessing the murder of his best friend Maria, Shadow vows to keep his promise to her that he would protect the world from danger.

Most Sonic fans know who Dr. Robotnik is, but only true fans are aware of his grandfather, Gerald Robotnik. Gerald Robotnik wanted to create a cure for his ill granddaughter, Maria. His efforts led to the creation of Shadow, the surly hedgehog everyone knows and loves.
Doctor Ivo Robotnik, better known by his alias Doctor Eggman, is a human mad scientist and the main antagonist of the series. Debuting in the first game of the series, Sonic the Hedgehog, he was shown attempting to collect the Chaos Emeralds and turn all of the animals inhabiting the land into robots.
Sonic has arguably had 3 significant rivals over the course of the franchise: Metal Sonic from 1993 to 1994, Knuckles between 1994 & 2001, and Shadow the Hedgehog ever since.
Despite Shadow being considered neutral in terms of alignment, he is considered an anti-hero by the most part with his overall motivation, which is dedicating his life to protecting mankind. He has also been selfless and altruistic, such as nearly giving his life at the end of Sonic Adventure 2 to save Earth.
Scourge the Hedgehog (formerly known as Anti Sonic or Evil Sonic) was an evil version of Sonic the Hedgehog from Moebius. Unlike Sonic, Scourge mistreated others, was selfish and greedy, and had a great desire for power.
He is very powerful, and managed to defeat Sonic without too much effort. He has one major weakness though: he must recharge his powers with chaos energy.
While Shadow is initially introduced as a villainous foil for Sonic, he quickly becomes more of an antihero, who works to save humanity despite his distaste for it.
He married Sally Acorn, who managed to bring some ease to his brutal leadership. Ruling for roughly two decades, his brutal rule came to an end after Lara-Su used her knowledge of Chaos Control to place him in suspended animation.
Luckily, one of the most popular requests was confirmed by the mid-credits scene of the second film, leaving most fans on the edges of their seats for the two-year gap between films. Shadow the Hedgehog will be joining the Sonic the Hedgehog movie franchise with the third film when it drops in December 2024.
Manic the Hedgehog is the brother of Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonia the Hedgehog, as well the youngest son of Bernadette and Jules.
Sonic started his battle against his nemesis Doctor Eggman in the 1991 platform game Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, Master System and Game Gear.

Katelin the Hedgehog, better known by her nickname, Katie is a supporting protagonist in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, specifically the Prime Universe continuity. She is a mobian hedgehog who is Sonic's long-lost twin sister.
Sonic Death is a live album by American rock band Sonic Youth. It was released in 1984 on cassette tape by the Ecstatic Peace! record label.
Mephiles the Dark is one of the primary antagonists in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). He is the malevolent conscience, mind and will of the sun god Solaris. Mephiles was born during the Solaris Project when the experiments on Solaris split him into Mephiles and Iblis.
Yet Shadow is the most powerful character because of his lab origins. Gerald crafted him very carefully and made him practically immortal, so he could carry out his mission of healing without any major obstacles. So while Shadow can be stopped, he cannot be physically defeated, which makes him the strongest character.
In 1937 it was revealed that the Shadow's real name was Kent Allard, a World War I flying ace who had supposedly died years earlier. The magazine was very popular. Initially a monthly release, it changed to a twice-monthly schedule for much of its run.
Shadow, however, doesn't consider Sonic and the other characters friends with him, even though he helps them, he never says that everyone is his friend.
Super Sonic is a special form that Sonic takes on after collecting the seven Chaos Emeralds. His super form grants him increased speed, the power of flight and turns his blue quills upward and golden yellow. Super Sonic is usually invincible to attacks, though he can die by being crushed or falling off screen.
The appearance of Mecha Sally on the cover of this issue led to fan speculation that Sally Acorn herself was the traitor to the Freedom Fighters. This was later confirmed in StH: #247.
