It's obvious that Elsa is the more popular character despite being the antagonist of the movie. That isn't bad in and of itself. However, the young girls I know all want to be Elsa. They see her as someone to look up to, more so, it seems, than Anna.
Anna Is Brave
Elsa is often seen as a coward, while Anna is undeniably brave. She was never afraid of what lay ahead as she was always all-in no matter the cost. She was willing to sacrifice it all, while Elsa chose to cower in her ice castle in order to avoid confronting her own demons.
First of all, Elsa has ice powers, which is something that a lot of little girls want, and also adults. She's special and magical, she's able to build ice castles, which is amazing. Anna, on the other hand, has none.

Anna would have received many of the same lessons, but probably not so intense, because she was the “spare”.
Anna. Princess Anna is the most popular and best character in "Frozen" and "Frozen II." Not only is her humor and sarcasm incredibly loveable, but she's honestly the most relatable character in both films.
Her love for Anna, and Anna's love for her, is what saves the day by the end of the film, and she learns to revel in her powers once she discovers that she can control them through love (awwwww). Elsa fears what makes her different, and she's encouraged to do so by her parents.

Moana has no magical ability of her own, but she does have a special connection with the ocean, which comes to her aid when she's in need. In a contest of Moana's water against Elsa's ice, ice wins.
Kristoff. A rugged mountain man and ice harvester by trade, Kristoff was a bit of a loner with his reindeer pal, Sven, until he met Anna. As Arendelle's official Ice Master and Deliverer, Kristoff has found love with Anna and his new family: Elsa, Olaf and Sven.

These strong female characters certainly have their weaknesses; they wouldn't be very interesting characters if they didn't. Elsa can be distant to the people she loves, she has trouble accepting help, and she fails to recognize her own limitations.
