In the Yakuza (Like a Dragon) series, Detective Makoto Date's daughter is Saya Date, a rebellious teen who initially clashes with her distant father but later reconciles with him and gets help from Kiryu in Yakuza Kiwami during a conflict involving loan sharks.
Yuta and Haruka briefly date afterward and conceive a child after sharing one night together.
Kazuma Kiryu, the main playable character throughout most of the franchise, protects and assists her during her search for her mother and Haruka is later adopted by him at the end of the first game.
Yakuza 4: 2010
After the fight with Munakata, Date distributes copies of a newspaper article he has written detailing the truth about Munakata from a helicopter above the Millennium Tower. In the epilogue he is shown to have been reinstated to the police force, working with Sudo and Tanimura.
Haruto Sawamura (澤村 遥勇, Sawamura Haruto) is a character first featured in Yakuza 6. He is the son of Haruka Sawamura and Yuta Usami.
In Yakuza 5 Kiryu meets Mayumi but in the story, they don't have a relationship beyond that. And officially, Kiryu is never said to be a virgin or no longer a virgin.
Sohei Dojima
He is Daigo's father, and Yayoi's husband. His death at the hands of Akira Nishikiyama in 1995 caused Shintaro Kazama, the Dojima captain, to absorb the Dojima men into his own Kazama Family.
After he confesses his love to Saeko, he reveals a white loose T-shirt with a red heart designs in each sides with imprinted words "I Love Saeko" on the front and "I Love Ichiban" on the back beneath his primary attire.
These are the so-called five-year clauses. During that period of probation, former yakuza are treated as associates of organized crime groups and, just like active members, are barred from opening a bank account or renting property in their own name.

The yakuza is populated almost entirely by men and the very few women who are acknowledged are the wives of bosses, who are referred to by the title ane-san (姐さん; older sister).
Kiryu tracks her down, and she is able to be reunited with Haruka and Kiryu at the top floor of the Millennium Tower in the Ares bar, where she admits to Kiryu that she always had feelings for him since she was young. There, Kiryu and Nishikiyama have one final battle with Kiryu emerging the victor.
In the original Yakuza, later remade as Yakuza Kiwami, Kiryu is introduced as a 27-year-old member of the Dojima crime family, but circumstances force him to spend ten years in prison; thus he is age 37 for the majority of the game.
For Yakuza 3 Kiryu leaves Kamurocho for Okinawa, where he now runs the Morning Glory (アサガオ) Orphanage. There he raises nine children, including Haruka. As time passes, Kiryu befriends the Ryudo Family from Okinawa despite initial conflicts over the Morning Glory's ownership.

Recent crackdowns and social changes have pushed Yakuza further underground. Japan's government has passed stricter anti-organized crime laws, and younger generations are less inclined to join these groups. Today, the Yakuza are a dying tradition, so you won't see men in sharp suits or tattoos openly anymore.

The Yamaguchi-gumi, founded in 1915, aren't the same as the Inagawa-kai, which came to power after the second world war. In polite Japanese society, people don't usually say “yakuza” out loud, instead opting for less loaded synonyms or even a silent knife-slash motion across the face with one finger.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth: 2022-2023
In 2022, Kasuga asks Saeko out on a date, causing her to run away. She agrees on the phone, however. On the date Kasuga asks her to marry him, and she leaves. He meets her in person the next day, where she says she would like to go back to being friends.
He was born in the same day and the same locker corner as his adopted brother Ichiban Kasuga. He was mistaken by Masumi Arakawa, Ichiban's father, as his biological son.
Sawashiro reveals to Kasuga that his biological mother, Akane Kishida, is alive and has been living in Honolulu, Hawaii, and asks Kasuga to meet her. Upon arriving in Hawaii, Kasuga encounters several people who try to be him as well as a dying Kiryu.
From my understanding it was Dojima who hired Lao Gui to frame Kiryu so that he can have a reason to antagonize Kazama and take away his power within the family. I assume it was in the empty lot because a clan member killing at that spot makes Kiryu's "murder" much worse of an act.
Goro Majima is the most popular Yakuza character based on the latest character poll! RGG Studio recently revealed the results of the Yakuza character general election. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Goro Majima, Kazuma Kiryu, and Taiga Saejima took the top 3 spots.
Despite this, Daigo ultimately sees Kiryu as his real father, and to that end, carried his last will and testament with pride in 2017.
