The Guinness World Record for the largest natural breasts belongs to Annie Hawkins-Turner, with a chest-over-nipple measurement of 70 inches (about 178 cm), making her the holder for natural breast size, though specific individuals with extremely large sizes are often discussed in media rather than official records.
The researchers noted that BMI is closely linked to breast size, with higher BMIs often resulting in larger breast size. However, Norway was an outlier. The country's average BMI was lower than other countries at 26.2, but the Scandinavian nation took the crown for the largest bust size, averaging between C and D cups.
It examined the surveyed public's perceptions of attractiveness with respect to breast anatomy and morphology. The study found that moderate-sized, projecting breasts with fullness at the top were associated with higher “attractiveness” scores.
The largest recorded natural breasts belong to Annie Hawkins-Turner (Norma Stitz), with a 109.22 cm (43 in) under-breast measurement and a 177.8 cm (70 in) over-nipple measurement, leading to a bra size estimated around 48V, though she wears a custom 52I. Some extreme cases, sometimes linked to gigantomastia, have been reported with exceptionally large measurements like 102ZZZ cup size in media, but these are rare instances often requiring specialized support.
It is normal to have different sized breasts. If you have just started developing breasts, one breast may grow more quickly than the other. This difference in breast size may even out. But it's also perfectly normal for breasts to be different sizes even when they're fully developed.
Annie Hawkins-Turner (née Hawkins), better known by the stage name Norma Stitz, is an American fetish model. Her pseudonym is a word-play on "enormous tits", a result of gigantomastia. She holds the Guinness World Record for largest natural breasts.
The "three-finger test" for breasts refers to the technique used in a breast self-exam (BSE) where you use the pads of your three middle fingers (index, middle, ring) to feel for lumps or changes, applying light, medium, and firm pressure to cover all breast tissue and the armpit, moving in circular or vertical patterns to detect new lumps or thickening. This method, often done while lying down or showering, helps you become familiar with your normal breast texture, but it's a supplement to, not a replacement for, regular clinical exams and mammograms for early detection.
Some studies show that men prefer larger breasts (Furnham et al., 1998, Zelazniewicz and Pawlowski, 2011) while others indicate preferences for medium (or medium to large) size (Dixson et al., 2015, Dixson et al., 2011a) or even for small breasts (Furnham & Swami, 2007), and still others report no effect of size on ...
The only way to permanently change breast size is through cosmetic surgery, which comes with its own risks (and expense). Doctors usually prefer that girls wait until development is complete before getting surgery.
There is no ideal boob size for a particular height and weight. The breast size should be proportionate to your height and weight. Taller women tend to have a wide chest and large breasts, which look good on their bodies. Women with a small frame will look attractive with small breasts.
The Golden Ratio, represents a mathematical ratio of 1:1.618, known as 'phi,' so you can understand the ideal breast proportions. Studies from cosmetic surgeons have shown that the ideal breast proportion is 45:55, where 45 percent of the breast should be above the nipple, and 55 percent below the nipple.
A 34C breast size indicates that the underbust measurement is approximately 34 inches, and the difference between the underbust and bust measurements is around 3 inches. It suggests a moderate breast volume relative to the band size, creating a proportional and balanced appearance.
There's no single "most attractive" breast shape, as beauty is subjective, but studies often point to a "teardrop" or "natural" shape with a 45:55 upper-to-lower pole ratio (more volume below the nipple) as a common preference in scientific research, combined with a skyward-pointing nipple and gentle upper slope, aligning with principles like the Golden Ratio for natural proportionality, though different shapes like rounder or fuller upper poles are also favored.
Large breasts and narrow waists indicate high reproductive potential in women.
Asian and African nations have the smallest, with predominantly B and A cup sizes being most common. Australia is way down the list: in 2020, the most common Australian bra sizes are reported to be 14C and 12D, and while this is the average across all ages, there really is no such thing as the “average” woman.
Aside from the Philippines, ladies from Malaysia, Bangladesh, Solomon Islands, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos and Mozambique were found to have the smallest breast sizes. China was not included in the study.

When the ovaries start to make and release (secrete) estrogen, fat in the connective tissue starts to collect. This causes the breasts to enlarge. The duct system also starts to grow. Often these breast changes happen at the same that pubic hair and armpit hair appear.
Genetics
Just like genetics dictate the color of your hair and your height, it plays a role in breast size as well. Women are typically born with their breast size, but that doesn't mean it won't change throughout their lifetime. Genes do not predetermine what your size will be, but rather indicate likelihood.
Female breast remains attractive and sexual stimulant to man. Three mechanisms are explained in terms of “attraction of unavailablity”, and the physiological roles played by pheromones and sebum. Many times attractant breast functions as a medium for an everlasting relation.
“I think with a lot of men, there's just a curiosity of what it tastes like, and what it would be like to nurse,” said Wendy Haldeman, who co-founded the Pump Station with Harvey. “Certainly men suck on nipples during sex, so they're gonna get milk.” But husband breastfeeding can be as much about utility as curiosity.
Acts as a Cushion
A strong and big bosom can indeed prove handy in situations of collision. If the size is big enough, a girl or women can simply avoid many bumpy scenarios, especially falling face-first.
Norway takes the lead, with women reportedly having an average cup size between C and D, followed closely by the United States and the United Kingdom averaging a C cup. The study points to several contributing factors, including genetics, lifestyle and regional differences in BMI (body mass index).
The nipple-to-notch asymmetry was on average 3.2%, with the left breast measurement being greater the majority of the time (62%). The mean distance between each breast demonstrated consistent breast asymmetry, with an average measurement of +0.5 mm (left breast being larger than the right).
