There isn't a single "most common" personality type for psychopaths, as psychopathy is a severe personality construct (related to Antisocial Personality Disorder) characterized by a lack of empathy and conscience, but it often manifests with traits like charm and manipulation, sometimes appearing as ENTJ, ESTJ, or INXJ in Myers-Briggs, or fitting within the Dark Triad (Narcissism, Machiavellianism, Psychopathy). Most research points to severe psychopathy affecting about 1% of the general population, though many more (up to 30%) exhibit some psychopathic traits, often showing a mix of cunning and emotional detachment.
