When coming back to the Myers Briggs personality types, those who are ESFP, ISFP, ENFP, INFP, INFJ, and ENFJ show the greatest ability to empathize with others. Some of those personality types are better at showing cognitive empathy and others are better at showing emotional empathy.
Personality types ENFP, ENFJ, INFJ, and INFPs are natural empaths per the MBTI Personality types. Empaths are also called Idealists & Diplomats. Highly Sensitive People belong to these MBTI types.
Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is associated with an assortment of characteristics that undermine interpersonal functioning. A lack of empathy is often cited as the primary distinguishing feature of NPD.
INFP. As a compassionate and caring type, INFPs are usually very polite. They are sensitive to the feelings of others, so they are careful with their wording and how they approach difficult topics. The only time INFPs let their politeness slip is if they feel their values are being challenged.
The finding of the study showed that introvert, intuition, feeling and judging (INFJ) personality type were more emotionally intelligent than the extrovert, sensing, thinking and perceiving (ESTP) personality type.
The INFP. Deep and introspective, INFPs direct most of their conscious energy to discover meaning and achieving inner harmony with their values. They are one of the most emotionally analytical personality types – having depths and complexities to their emotions that others may only briefly glimpse.
INTJs often hide their vulnerable or emotional side behind a mask of stoicism. They are the types to let their behavior speak for them, rather than put their feelings into words.
ESFJ. Those who are extroverted, sensing, feeling, and judging are often identified as one of the kindest types by experts.

According to the MBTI® Manual, ISFPs were the type most likely to get upset or angry and show it, as well as the type most likely to get upset or angry and not show it.
On the affirmative empathy scale, I would say INTJs are the least empathetic, while INFJ, ENFJ being the most empathetic (because of the Ni-Fe, Fe-Ni axis). On the cognitive empathy scale, I would say INFP, ExFP are the least empathetic, while INFJ, INTJ, ENTJ being the most empathetic.
The introverted (I) intuitive (N) types (“INs”)—INFJ, INFP, INTJ and INTP—are among the most “sensitive” of the personality types. This is especially true of those who are more turbulent than assertive.
The ENTP. You feel apathetic and dismal when life doesn't offer enough variety or spontaneity to you.
INFJ is regarded as the most sensitive personality type. Some estimates suggest that 80 to 90% of people who test as INFJs also test as highly sensitive people, because the traits of the two overlap so much.
We start off with INFPs and INFJs: two Introverted personalities that often experience bouts of anxiety. When it comes to these types, their anxiety can stem from an inclination to overthinking.
INFJ personalities are often seen as those quiet, sensitive types who are easily upset and seem to take everything personally.
Statistically speaking, Assertive Virtuosos (ISTP-As), Architects (INTJ-As), and Logisticians (ISTJ-As) are the least likely to seek affection from everyone, while Turbulent Campaigners (ENFP-Ts) and Entertainers (ESFP-Ts) are the most likely.
ISFPs are quiet, reserved types who like to focus their attention on people and the experiences they enjoy. They aren't typically big talkers unless someone they're talking about something deeply important to them or they're trying to empathize verbally with someone.
INTPs are the least loving personality type. That doesn't mean they don't love, it just means they aren't very expressive about their love and they show it differently than other types. INTPs are known for being logical and analytical people.
INTJ: deep feelers
INTJs are often seen as cold-hearted, detached, and objective—but they only appear as such on the outside. That's because they're not reactive, meaning they don't show emotion in front of those they don't know well.
INFPs and ISFJs are the cutest types. They both possess a natural sweetness and affection that makes them hard to resist. INFPs and ISFJs are both empathetic and caring, which can be very cute.
INTP: Pushes Anger Away
“The Architect” type, INTP, will avoid talking to others when they're angry. These personality types will suppress their emotions. Because INTPs aren't great at handling their feelings or the emotions of others, it's easier for them to forget about it, push it away, and move on.
ESFP: Afraid others view them as emotionally shallow
ESFPs are often written off as shallow and uninterested in going deep with their feelings. They tend to move quickly and can be impulsive at times, and their emotional expression can be viewed as dramatic.
INTP – Rejection
