There is no single Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) type that inherently has a "good heart"; all types have the capacity for kindness and compassion. The MBTI assesses personality preferences, not morality, character, or emotional capacity.
ESFJ: The ESFJ personality, known as “the caregiver,” stands for “extroversion, sensing, feeling, judging.” People with this personality type are sensitive, caring, and dependable.
INFP: The Ultimate, Die-Hard Romantic
You, INFPs are the ultimate, die-hard romantics. For you, romance isn't about quick flings or puppy love—it's about having a soulmate who matches your vision of what love should be. But even though your feelings run deep, your romantic gestures are more subtle than grandiose.
INFJ: The Counselor
INFJ may be the world's rarest personality type but, anecdotally, they seem to be well represented among the therapy professions. Empathetic INFJs would make excellent therapists due to their high emotional attunement, intuition and superb listening skills.
ESFJ: The Yes Mom
ESFJ moms value their children's opinions and weigh them equally with adults when making decisions for the family.
A quick Internet search of compatible MBTI personality types will often throw up the example of the INFJ and INTP being considered the “golden pair”.
MBTI types with introverted, intuitive, and thinking preferences—such as INTJ, INTP, and ISTJ—are often associated with autistic traits. These types often display analytical thinking, deep focus, and preference for structure.
Debater – ENTP. The Debater personality type is the ultimate devil's advocate, thriving on the process of shredding arguments and beliefs and letting the ribbons drift in the wind for all to see.
Overthinking is a big problem for both INFJ personality types and INFP personality types. As a writing coach who specializes in working with both types, I've seen that overthinking is tied to INFJs and INFPs struggling overall with creativity, feeling connected to their intuition, and life in general.
About INFP – 'The Healer'
Driven to meet the needs of others, INFPs tend to choose creative or human service-oriented careers that allow them to use their instinctive sense of empathy and remarkable communication skills. INFPs represent 4.4 percent of the U.S. population.

ESFJ: You Take Everything Personally
ESFJs tend to overestimate their importance in the lives of others. This can make them see even small signs of annoyance as personal attacks, and that is an exhausting way to live.
INFPs are known for their sensitivity – these personalities can have profound emotional responses to music, art, nature, and the people around them. They are known to be extremely sentimental and nostalgic, often holding onto special keepsakes and memorabilia that brighten their days and fill their heart with joy.
For example, a nurse who primarily uses introverted, sensing, feeling, and judging mental-emotional processes would be described as having an ISFJ personality type. In fact, ISFJ is a common nurse MBTI type.
Judgers (J) More Talkative than Perceivers (P)
Since J types judge rather than perceive outwardly, they generally prefer to talk more than listen. Intuitive Judgers (NJ types), in particular, can launch into lengthy diatribes on all sorts of topics.
ISFP. Easygoing, creative, spontaneous, and modest, ISFPs may be more likely than others to self-medicate with substances. One study compared personality traits among people struggling with addiction. The researchers found ISFP to be one of the most common MBTI types among those who also struggled with a mood disorder.
Quick Thinkers – ENTP personalities have tremendously flexible minds and are able to shift from idea to idea with little effort, drawing on their accumulated knowledge to prove their points, or their opponents', as they see fit.
Hitler was not only an ENTJ type, but also a charismatic leader exercising charismatic leadership at a particularly critical period in German history. His behavior was therefore also shaped by these two factors.
ISTP Personality Traits
ISTP types favor logic and reason over emotional influences. They base their decisions on what makes sense. They are also spontaneous and prefer keeping their options open. Detectives are often more adaptable and less aware of time.
INTJ - The Mastermind. "Most Independent"
INTJs are strong individuals who seek new ways of looking at things. They are analytical problem-solvers, eager to improve systems and processes with their innovative ideas. They are insightful and enjoy coming to new understandings.
The MBTI functions and attitudes that most correlate with ADHD are the intuitive (N) function and perceptive (P) attitude. People who score high on these dimensions have more chances of portraying ADHD symptoms.
Around 90% of autism cases are attributed to genetic factors, meaning autism is highly heritable, with many different genes contributing, rather than a single cause, often interacting with environmental influences during early brain development, though specific environmental factors don't cause it but can increase risk. Twin studies show strong genetic links, with concordance rates between 60-90% in identical twins, and research points to complex interactions of many genes and prenatal/perinatal factors.
