They are extremely confident
Loner wolves often do in-depth analyzes of their personality and are well aware of who they are, as well as their faults and virtues. They know their strengths, but also their weaknesses. They never promise what they cannot deliver. They understand their own emotions and fully accept them.
A loner, also called a 'homebody', is someone who prefers spending time alone instead of with other people. They'd rather take a stroll in the woods by themselves than go to a concert where there's a crowd. Loners also rely heavily on themselves and are less inclined to ask for assistance.
Idealist (INFP)
INFPs are quiet and prefer not to talk about themselves. They enjoy spending time alone in quiet places.
ISTP (introverted, sensing, thinking, perceiving) is one of the 16 personality types identified by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). People with ISTP personalities enjoy having time to think alone and are fiercely independent.
Lone wolves typically fall into two categories. One is the senior alpha who used to be the head of the pack. Such a lone wolf was driven out of the pack by a younger rival who took his place. The other is the younger rival who challenged the alpha, lost, and wasn't permitted by the alpha to remain in the pack.
A lone wolf personality means that you're very trustworthy. You know first hand how much it takes to let someone into your private life. It takes time to gain a person's trust, especially if they've been betrayed before. You certainly don't take this for granted.
Every year, individual wolves across America leave the pack they were born into (called a “natal pack”) and go solo, becoming a “lone wolf” in the wild. ISFPs are quiet, reserved types who like to focus their attention on people and the experiences they enjoy. They aren't typically big talkers unless someone they're talking about something deeply important to them or they're trying to empathize verbally with someone.
One person's social interactions might cause them to lean toward the INFP as the most introverted personality type, while someone else might know an INTP who they swear is the most introverted person they've ever known.
Statistically speaking, Assertive Virtuosos (ISTP-As), Architects (INTJ-As), and Logisticians (ISTJ-As) are the least likely to seek affection from everyone, while Turbulent Campaigners (ENFP-Ts) and Entertainers (ESFP-Ts) are the most likely.

The alpha pair commands the whole group, while the beta pair directs the mid-level wolves, and the adults take charge of the remaining pack members in the middle and lower ranks.
Sigma male is a slang term used in masculinist subcultures for a popular, successful, but highly independent and self-reliant man. Another term for a sigma male is a lone wolf.
The lone wolf
In times of prey scarcity, low ranking wolves may choose to go off on their own if the pack cannot supply sufficient food. These lone wolves may then attempt to join into an existing wolf pack or, more commonly, find a mate and begin a new pack family as the alphas.
