The exact burial place of Moses is unknown, as the Bible states God buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, but "no one knows his burial place to this day" (Deuteronomy 34:6). However, tradition associates his death and burial with Mount Nebo in modern-day Jordan, where a church and memorial commemorate him, and a traditional site for his grave exists in the West Bank (Maqam El-Nabi Musa).
The Torah attests that no one ever knew Moses's burial place (34:6). But it's interesting: Not only is Moses's burial location unknown; it is unknowable. The Talmud we cited above continues that at one point the Romans attempted to find Moses's grave. They were shown the location yet still could not reach it.
According to the word of the Lord, and the Lord buried him in the valley of Moab. Yahweh buried Moses. We don't know exactly what this meant, but we see from the following verse that it meant that no one else knew where Moses was. There was a private funeral, only God Himself buried Moses.

So Moses the servant of יהוה died there, in the land of Moab, at the command of יהוה. If we follow traditional biblical dating, Moses preceded Jesus by roughly 1300-1400 years. Despite this vast time gap, Moses remained a crucial figure in Jesus' time. The Gospels frequently reference Moses, and Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew, as Dale C.

Most argue that his sin was in striking the rock when told by God to merely speak (compare v. 8 with v. 11). But Moses was told to take the staff, likely to strike the rock (see Exodus 17:5-6 where Moses was told to strike a rock to make the water come out).
While the biblical interpretations seem to agree that Moses's hand was momentarily afflicted either with leprosy or some more generic skin disease, the Quran seems to be emphatic in clearing Moses from such an affliction.
Some of Moses' very last words were filled with encouragement for the children of Israel as they were crossing into the Promised Land-finally: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified…for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you,” Deuteronomy 31:6.
The text of the Book of Genesis says Enoch lived 365 years before he was taken by God. The text reads that Enoch "walked with God: and he was no more; for God took him" (Gen 5:21–24), which is interpreted as Enoch entering heaven alive in some Jewish and Christian traditions, and interpreted differently in others.
There is no historical evidence outside of the Bible to support the existence of Moses, and most scholars believe he was a legendary figure.
He is then said to have been embalmed and placed in a coffin in Egypt. In Exodus, we are told that Moses fulfilled the pledge by taking Joseph's bones with him when he left Egypt. In Joshua, Joseph's bones are said to have been brought from Egypt by the Children of Israel and interred in Shechem.
The Bible does describe Moses as having fled from Egypt into Midian (Exodus 2:15). This territory is broadly recognized as at least generally occupying the northwestern part of Saudi Arabia, primarily along the eastern site of the Gulf of Aqaba (see map, right).

God tells us 365 times in His Word: “Fear not.” Why? Because He is with you.
(See 1 Thessalonians 4:16; the voice of the archangel raises the dead in Christ at Christ's return.) Moses was not meant to stay dead. Indeed, he was resurrected from the dead and has been living in heaven since that time. Truly, he has already experienced life after death.

The year 2033 will be of exceptional significance for the Christian community and the entire world. This extraordinary year will mark the 2000th anniversary of the Redemption, an event that highlights the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the foundation of Christian faith.
Based on Hebrews 11:5 (King James Version), which says, “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death,” some believe that Enoch never died and was taken to heaven.
