When you turn on backup, your photos are stored in photos.google.com.
Restore photos & videos
Touch and hold the photo or video you want to restore. At the bottom, tap Restore. The photo or video will be back: In your phone's gallery app.
When you turn on Smart Storage, photos backed up in Google Photos are deleted automatically: If photos are saved for 60 days. If your device's storage is less than 25%
In Photos on iCloud.com, click the Recently Deleted album in the sidebar. Select the photos or videos you want to recover, then click Recover.
Access your data via the iCloud website
Log in with your Apple ID and password. You're asked for a six-digit code for two-factor authentication. Check your iPhone, MacBook, or iPad for a prompt asking you to verify the login. Select Allow and then enter the six-digit code on your Android device.
An iTunes backup will save nearly everything on the iPhone including pictures on the camera roll, just as long as the photos were not downloaded from the computer but taken directly from the iPhone's camera. For more info on backups, see About backups for iOS devices. Cheers!
Check the status of Google Photos backups
On the bottom menu, tap the Library button. Once you're in the Library, tap the Utilities icon towards the top of the page. Now you're at the Utilities menu. Towards the bottom of the list, tap “Back up device folders.”
iTunes can back up almost all data from the iPhone device, including photos. It can backup only those photos that get captured directly from the camera of the iPhone device. iTunes does not back up photos of the iPhone if downloaded from either the system PC or another source.
If you're missing photos or videos from other apps or devices, check your device folders. On your Android phone or tablet, open Google Photos . At the bottom, tap Library Find the folder under Photos on device. If available, open your device folders to find your missing item.
Why Are My Photos Disappearing from My Gallery? If your photos are lost without your manual deletion then it means that there might be something wrong with your device. These problems could be Gallery on Android not working properly, update failure, phone jailbreak, malware infection, third-party software error, etc.
When you charge iPhone it will automatically be backed up to iCloud Over your wifi. A simple and sure test is to log on to iCloud.com (via a browser) using the account that is suppose to have the photos. You can select the Photos icon once logged in, and easily view which photos are already in iCloud.
You can automatically save your photos and videos to your Google Account when you turn on backup. You can access your saved photos and videos from any device you're signed into, but only you can find them unless you choose to share them. You can back up photos and videos to only one Google Account at a time.
iCloud backups include nearly all data and settings stored on your device. iCloud backups don't include: Data that's already stored in iCloud, such as Contacts, Calendars, Notes, iCloud Photos, iMessages, Voice Memos, text (SMS) and multimedia (MMS) messages, and Health data.
Tap Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Photos. Make sure Upload to My Photo Stream is turned on. If you don't see this option, turn on iCloud Photos to keep your photos and videos in iCloud instead. On the device that captured the photo that you're looking for, close the Camera app.
If you can't see your iCloud Photos
If you don't see your iCloud Photos in the Photos app, make sure that: You signed in to iCloud with the correct Apple ID. You turned on iCloud Photos.
iCloud photos disappeared, because you may not have completed the syncing process. Sometimes, the process might look complete, but your device is still uploading photos to iCloud Photo Library in the background. So, keep your device connected to the internet, and do not turn off iCloud Photo Library immediately.
For example, if you're using iCloud Photos, iCloud Drive, or Notes, your information automatically syncs to the cloud and is kept up-to-date across all of your devices whenever you make a change. Any data on your device that isn't regularly synced is stored in your iCloud Backup.
After reading the overview part, you will know that iCloud Backup backs up almost everything on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, including photos and videos. Whereas iCloud Photos is limited to backup photos and videos rather than apps, messages, etc. So, iCloud Backup can backup more data than iCloud Photos.
In all the Android phones, the “backup & restore” function is present to help you. All you have to do is open the “Settings” and scroll down to find “cloud and accounts” or “backup and reset”, etc. This will fix your gallery pictures disappear problem and you will be able to get your pictures back.
By default, the System Photo Library is located in the Pictures folder on your Mac. You can also create additional photo libraries on your Mac and on other storage devices. You should always use the Photos app to access the photos in a Photos library.
iPhoto stores your photo library in the iPhoto Library file, or “package,” in your Pictures folder (in your home folder on your hard disk). The package contains all the photos you've imported into iPhoto and any albums, slideshows, and projects (such as books, cards, or calendars) you've created using iPhoto.
Photos and videos backed up in Original quality regardless of date continue to count toward your Google Account storage.
