Angels are generally believed to live in a spiritual realm, often called heaven or the spirit realm, which is separate from the physical universe, though they can visit Earth as messengers or protectors. Different faiths place them in various spiritual or astral planes, serving God or divine beings, but their primary home is considered a higher, non-physical dimension.
According to Scripture, they're part of the universe God created. In a passage that refers to angels (the “host” or “armies” of heaven), we read, “You are the Lord, you alone; you have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host . . . and the host of heaven worships you” (Nehemiah 9:6).

After a few seasons playing in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium, they moved to Angel Stadium in Anaheim in 1966, where they've played ever since.
They would have been cast out of heaven, damned to roam the world as demons, but were not so evil that they were sentenced to hell, like Lucifer and his devils. Yet they were still not as good to remain in heaven. Therefore, they would live between heaven and hell among humans in liminal spaces.
Michael and Gabriel are recognized as archangels in Judaism and Islam, and by most Christians. Raphael—mentioned in the deuterocanonical/apocryphal Book of Tobit— is also recognized as a chief angel in the Catholic, Lutheran, Anglican and Eastern Orthodox churches.
While the Bible doesn't give us details about their origin, it seems that angels existed before the world was created, and through all eternity they will continue to serve and praise God. We are not to worship them, however, for only God is worthy of our worship (see Revelation 22:8-9).
In 2005, new owner Arte Moreno added Los Angeles to the team's name. In compliance with the terms of its lease with the city of Anaheim, which required Anaheim be a part of the team's name, the team was officially renamed the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
Angels are everywhere. We encounter them daily, carved on the side of buildings; spotted in a cloud formation or fountain; in paintings, flowers and gravestones. Look around. They're hovering near.
While angels may not be visible to us in a physical form, many people believe that they are around us, watching over us and sending us signs of their presence. These signs can come in many forms, such as feathers, a sense of peace or reassurance, a comforting presence, or even a feeling of warmth or lightness.
Angels do not work for us; they work for God. He tells them what to do and they listen to the voice of His commands. Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His Word, heeding the voice of His Word.
For throughout history, angels have been sent by God to bring a message of hope, to protect, comfort, serve, carry out his judgment, and to give Him praise. There are people who have had encounters with angels in our world even today.

John 14:2 records Jesus' reassurance that there would be a place for all believers in Heaven. “My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?”
The only named angels in the Bible—Michael and Gabriel—are referred to in the masculine. “ Michael and his angels” (Revelation 12:7); “Mary was greatly troubled at his [Gabriel's] words” (Luke 1:29). Other references to angels are always in the masculine gender. In Judges 6:21, the angel holds a staff in “his” hand.
You may hear your guardian angel's name as an intuitive thought or an audible sound, or you may be guided to write in your journal. If you don't receive the name in your meditation, you can trust that it's coming.

Angels are genderless spirits, neither male nor female. They manifest to humans as either animals - eagles, bulls, lions, abstract objects - rings, or young beatiful men. The highest of the angelic orders are cherubim and seraphim - they usually are seen as bulls full of eyes and eagles with many wings.
In the Hebrew Bible, the destroying angel (Hebrew: מַלְאָך הַמַשְׁחִית, malʾāḵ hamašḥīṯ), also known as mashḥit (מַשְׁחִית mašḥīṯ, 'destroyer'; plural: מַשְׁחִיתִים, mašḥīṯīm, 'spoilers, ravagers'), is an entity sent out by God on several occasions to deal with numerous peoples.
In his second role, he is the angel of death, carrying the souls of Christians to Heaven. Catholic prayers often refer to this role of Michael. In his third role, he weighs souls on his perfectly balanced scales, a common object he holds in art.
And in the Responsorial Psalm (Psalm 91:11), it says: “The Lord has put angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways”. 3. Angels are servants and messengers from God. In unseen ways, our guardian angel helps us in our earthly pilgrimage by assisting us in temptation and protecting us from physical danger.
