Pure sativa strains may have long bloom times, longer than those of pure indica strains. Some high quality pure sativa strains may (but not always) take 11-12 weeks of bloom or even longer. Generally, people who are looking for sativa strains are looking to have an uplifting and energetic feeling. The good news is that there are still 100 percent pure sativa strains. However, it is harder and harder to find pure forms of this species.
