The BTS band is filled with five members of the INTP, ISTP, INFJ, INFP personality type while two of their members were found on the extrovert side with ENFP and ESTP personality type. We bring you the results of the Myers-Briggs Personality Test taken by the BTS members.
Jungkook's MBTI personality types are ISFP and INTP. This personality type belongs to the Explorers category, which includes ISTP (Virtuosos), ISFP (Adventurers), ESTP (Entrepreneurs), and ESFP (Entertainers).
Jin is an INTP personality type.

Although Jungkook is very creative and goes out of his way to help others, his personality type changed last year before changing again this year. In October 2020, he posted on Weverse to show fans that his MBTI had changed from INFP to ISFP. Like INFPs, ISFPs are introverted, feeling, and prospecting.
Despite being international superstars, most of the BTS members tested as “I” types, which stands for introverted personalities. V tested as INFP, J-Hope as INFJ, Suga as ISTP and Jungkook and Jin both tested as INTP.
Jimin: ESTP
He is also an ESTP personality type. The ESTP personality is also called “The Dynamo” because of this type's dynamic energy. ESTPs are known to be straightforward, funny and adaptable.
Ariana Grande is an American pop singer, songwriter, actress, and ESFJ personality type. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) defines ESFJ personalities by their Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling, and Judging traits. Ariana Grande displays the main ESFJ characteristics of loyal dedication, friendliness, and compassion.
ESTJ. The rarest personality type in K-Pop is ESTJ (also known as the “Executive”), shared by just 1% of idols.
Jennie is an ISFP personality type.
Extreme Introvert : Suga
Often made fun of by other members for being too lazy or uninterested in high activity tasks, Suga is the perfect example of an introvert. He shines in isolation, quietly working on producing music and script writing in his genius lab.
Lisa is an ESFP personality type. She is warm and loves being in the spotlight.
Jisoo (INFJ: Advocate)
BLACKPINK's double threat Jisoo Kim is the group's lead vocalist and harmonizer.
He greatly values connections with others and mutual support. In addition, Jimin likes to feel appreciated and recognition is key to his happiness. As an Enneagram Three, Jimin is driven, enthusiastic, and practical. He is focused on getting things done and works hard to achieve his goals.
INFPs and ISFJs are the cutest types. They both possess a natural sweetness and affection that makes them hard to resist. INFPs and ISFJs are both empathetic and caring, which can be very cute. Plus, they tend to have an air of innocence that makes them hard not to love.

His previous results classified him as an ENFP, but his 2022 results describe him as an INFP. People with this personality type are known for being idealistic, curious, flexible, and adaptable.
Zendaya is an ENFJ personality type. She is diplomatic and people-oriented. Typically ENFJs are motivated by a desire to have a positive impact on the world and the lives of people around them. Zendaya is inspiring and charismatic, radiating a unique positivity that draws people to her.
Taylor Swift is a famous American singer-songwriter and director with an ESFJ personality type according to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Taylor Swift's heartfelt song lyrics and generous, empathetic nature align with The Provider ESFJ personality type.
Women, however, only make up 0.8% of the population for INTJs. ENTJ (0.9%) and INTJ (0.8%) are the least common MBTI personality types for women. Among men in the US, INFJ (1.3%) and ENFJ (1.6%) are the least common MBTI personality types.
For women, however, the rarest personality type is INTJ and ENTJ. Just 1% of women type as INTJ and ENTJ respectively. Among women, INFJ is only the third rarest personality type with approximately 2% of women categorized as INFJ. Both INTJ women and ENTJ women are extremely rare in the general population.
Probably the best that can be said is that it is easiest to make the case for the INFP, INTP, or ISTP as the most introverted personality type.
BTS members, Rm, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V and Jungkook have often spoken about Jimin's kindness. Jimin is always the one they look to when seeking comfort. Jimin is great at comforting not just the members but also ARMYs. On Weverse, we have seen Jimin being active and sharing comfort through his messages to ARMYs.
MBTI's Popularity In South Korea
The MBTI is used in many situations in Korea. For example, during a blind date or a first date, when Koreans meet for the first time, or even during job interviews to help hiring managers see if candidates are suitable for their company's culture.
The psychologist Carl Jung (on whose work the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is based) believed our preferences are inborn predispositions and don't change. He believed they're hardwired. However, Jung also believed how we use those preferences can and does change (in healthy personal development and growth).
