It appears that symmetry is key to a conventionally attractive lip shape, with a survey of more than 1,000 people from 35 countries showing that a strong but mirrored plumpness in the lip was considered the most attractive.
In the study, which was published in the Journal of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, more than 60% of respondents chose the 1:1 ratio between the upper and lower lip as the most attractive shape.
Unsurprisingly to anyone with functioning eye balls, 'D', with a heavy upper lip, was the least attractive look. In fact, it was the heavier lower lip that was rated most attractive.
