Jesus' teachings emphasize nonviolence, loving enemies, and peace ("Blessed are the peacemakers"), famously telling Peter to put away his sword and stating, "all who draw the sword will die by the sword" (Matthew 26:52). While acknowledging that "wars and rumors of wars" are inevitable signs of the end times, his core message promotes internal peace, turning the other cheek, and spiritual battle over physical conflict, urging followers to love, pray for persecutors, and remain neutral from worldly strife.
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Jesus said, “But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom (Mark 13:7-8).” While Palestine was peaceful under Roman oversight, however, the Jews were restless.
Revelation 16:16 (NIV) mentions the place where the kings of the earth will gather for battle on the great day of God Almighty: "Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon."
The fact that there were cases in which war was commanded by God to the Israelites and therefore justified is undoubted. In view of God's command, to say that war is invariably sinful is to say that God told Israel to sin, and is therefore an attack on the character of God (James 1:13).
He said, “When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed; this must take place, but the end is still to come” (Mark 13:7, also Matt. 24:6, Lk. 21:9). He certainly doesn't suggest that war either should exist or that it is sanctioned by him.
Zechariah 12 says that by the arrival of our Messiah, all nations will gather for war against Jerusalem and God's people. It may have been difficult to fathom before, but today we see that the world may be heading in that direction.

Who will gather at Armageddon?
“In the last days,” Jesus will reign from Mount Zion in Jerusalem and establish a kingdom of peace and righteousness. His glory will be renown, and His word will cover the earth. Israel in the end times will be the chief of nations and Mount Zion the chief of the mountains (Jer. 31:7; Isa.

Later on, in Deuteronomy 30:3-5, God promises to Israel a specific land – you guessed it! From that moment on, we know it as the Promised Land. The Lord said He would bring his people to the land He chose, and He would make their descendants prosperous.
4* Jesus said to them in reply, “See that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Messiah,' and they will deceive many. 6b You will hear of wars* and reports of wars; see that you are not alarmed, for these things must happen, but it will not yet be the end.
In another conversation, Jesus describes the end of the world, saying, “The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will weed out of His kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 13:40-43).
The Bible also prophesied the world would hate Jewish people and hate the nation of Israel. Psalm 83:3–4 says, “They make shrewd plans against Your people, and conspire together against Your treasured ones. They have said 'Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more.
3:1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, ...
Armageddon (/ˌɑːrməˈɡɛdən/ AR-mə-GHED-ən; Ancient Greek: Ἁρμαγεδών, romanized: Harmagedṓn; Late Latin: Armagedōn; from Hebrew: הַר מְגִדּוֹ, romanized: Har Məgīddō) is the prophesied gathering of armies for a battle during the end times, according to the Book of Revelation in the New Testament of the Christian Bible.
Jesus will return as a mighty King with heaven's armies to destroy all those who have rejected Him as Savior, and His victory will usher in the coming Golden Age. Scripture tells us the battle will end in an instant, but it provides several details of the event.

In Matthew 24:36, Jesus says, “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Some people misuse this verse to argue that Jesus is somehow less than fully divine — that he is not co- equal with the Father, since he says only the Father knows when the ...
God promises in His Word that He will protect Israel, the apple of His eye. We give you five Bible texts that underline this. For this is what the Lord Almighty says: After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye.
In Matthew 24:24, Jesus warns His disciples, “False Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” These words appear to refer to the events surrounding Jerusalem's destruction in AD 70. But the deception Jesus has in view is part of an ongoing pattern.
