Zoro's oldest and most prized sword is the Wado Ichimonji, a Great Grade blade forged by Shimotsuki Kozaburo, which he received from his childhood friend Kuina and her father, Koushirou, after her passing; it's the only sword he's kept since the very beginning of his journey, symbolizing his promise to become the world's greatest swordsman.
