This subtle asymmetry, often called a "teardrop" or "natural" shape, is favored by many men, women, and plastic surgeons, contrasting with a rounder, fuller-top look.
“…moderate-sized, projecting breasts with fullness at the top were associated with higher “attractiveness” scores…” Within the group of more attractive breasts, all patients had minimal ptosis and projected contour. The mean breast size was moderate, with a mean volume of 299.4 ± 115.8 cm3.
A different study quantified an ideal anthropomorphic value of a female breast and reported that an ideal sternal notch-to-nipple distance was 21–21.5 cm, an ideal nipple-to-base distance was 6 cm, and an ideal base-to-inframammary fold was 2 cm.
Triangle shape
The most popular and widely available shape, this is a symmetrical breast form which can used on either side of the body. It mimics the shape of a natural breast and is available in shallow, average or full volumes. It is most suited to ladies who have not had extensive surgery to the lymph glands.

Small breasts are usually due to genetics, hormones, and body fat, but can also be affected by weight loss, age (menopause), or pregnancy, with factors like clothing fit influencing appearance; if you have sudden changes or concerns, a doctor can rule out conditions like micromastia or hypothyroidism.

Just like genetics dictate the color of your hair and your height, it plays a role in breast size as well. Women are typically born with their breast size, but that doesn't mean it won't change throughout their lifetime. Genes do not predetermine what your size will be, but rather indicate likelihood.
