After surgery, the most common size of breasts is a small to large C cup, with average implants measuring between 350 and 500cc.
We find that most patients want a look that is either athletic (small C cup), full (full C cup), or large (D to DD cup). Our most common augmentation size is what we call our “full-C-cup” look.
On the basis of published data and results from this study, it is recommended that patients with a cup size>or=D or a bra size>or=18 could be categorized as having large breasts, with all other patients considered average in size.
A: A much-generalized rule of thumb is that one cup size is about 175cc. Therefore, if you are an A-cup and desire to be a full C-cup you should expect to try implants around 350cc.
A general guide is that a 250cc breast implant matches to about one cup size in an average woman. In other words, a 250cc breast implant will augment an existing A-cup breast into a B-cup breast. Consequently, A 350cc implant will transform an A-cup breast into a C-cup breast, and so on.
WAYS TO DETERMINE THE RIGHT REAST IMPLANT SIZE
Breast implants size for small frame – If you have a small frame, implants should not be larger than 2-3 times your current size. Breast implants size for medium frame – If you have a medium frame, you can go a little larger.
Is C Cup Big or Small? Contrary to popular belief, a C cup is not a large size. It is the most common size among women who have breast augmentation or breast implants. Having a larger chest isn't ideal for women since it can affect their posture and cause shoulder and back pain.
