Cyanoacrylate adhesive is a good choice for rubber bonding, and it will create a strong and rigid bond that becomes very strong almost instantly. Use a small amount of the adhesive to create a strong bond, and be sure to apply it evenly so that the rubber doesn't tear.
Gorilla Super Glue has been engineered to achieve excellent results on difficult to bond substrates. It is formulated to bond a wide range of ,materials including most plastics, metals, elastomers (vinyl/rubber), wood, and porous surfaces.
A good option for rubber to wood is a silicone-based adhesive. Apply the glue to both surfaces and then press them firmly together. Hold the surfaces in place for a few minutes to allow the glue to set.
Permabond 105 is an instant adhesive that bonds most types of rubbers, including Butyl, EPDM, Natural, and Nitrile. It forms strong bonds in seconds, and the strength continues to increase for 24 hours. For silicone rubber, use Permabond POP primer before bonding with Permabond.
It can be used for almost anything but is especially useful for nonporous materials that other adhesives can't glue together. Contact cement works best on plastics, veneers, rubber, glass, metal and leather.
Glue for rubber to wood
For items with a larger surface area, the Adiseal adhesive & sealant is the best product to stick rubber to wood.
The most commonly used glue for rubber bonding is cyanoacrylate adhesive (i.e., super glue). It is often considered the best glue for rubber since it quickly forms a strong bond between substrates.
That means these products are great at bonding porous or non-porous surfaces, whether you are working on wood, metal, glass, marble, rubber, brick, plaster and so much more.
Typical Sikaflex Use: Suitable substrates are metal primers and paint coating (2-c systems), metals, painted plastics, plastics and rubber.
They form very strong, very durable waterproof bonds, with excellent resistance to high and low temperatures. They're recommended for use on gutters and on building materials, including metal, glass, fiberglass, rubber, and wood. They can also be used on fabrics, some plastics, and ceramics.
Cyanoacrylate instant adhesive is generally your best bet for rubber bonding; epoxies are not usually recommended – rubber is easily peeled off. Cyanoacrylate adhesive cures in seconds, so you can find out pretty quickly whether it is going to work or not!
Unless you need to fill a gap, Titebond III is the better choice. It's easier to work with especially on wood to wood gluing. If you're simply filling a gap with no strength required, use Gorilla Glue.
Will Gorilla Glue Original Bond Plastic or Rubber? Gorilla Glue Original will work well on many types of plastic; however, we do not recommend for use on polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE) plastics or any type of rubber with high oil or plasticizer content.
WILL GORILLA EPOXY BOND PLASTIC /RUBBER? Gorilla Epoxy works well on many types of plastic (roughen surfaces prior to gluing), but is not recommended for use on PVC pipe, polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) plastic, or certain types of rubber with high oil or plasticiser content.
Winner: liquid nails
As we've said, liquid nails are formulated for construction. So, naturally, it has stronger bonding properties than wood glue. As long as you follow the application instructions properly especially the drying time, you'll get unbeatable bonding results.
But when should you use each? The quick answer: Wood glue is best used to bond two tight-fitting pieces of wood together. Liquid nails is better suited for other materials, or to secure wood when the joint between the pieces is loose or has gaps.
Montage adhesives are stronger than silicones. Used for challenging adhesion processes requiring strength. Convenient for professional or amateur use.

Gorilla Glue, according to its site, produces two glues which are suitable for bonding plastic to foam: the basic Gorilla Glue and the new Gorilla Epoxy. According to the company's glue guide chart, both of these glues can bond plastic and foam. Both glue most anything except paper and rubber.
