No, pepperoni is not entirely pork. Most pepperonis are made from a mixture of beef and pork. However, they were made from pork initially, but food enthusiasts are also experimenting with other meats like turkey. The cuts used to make pork-only pepperonis are the shoulder and belly, which have high-fat content.
This protects our industry from diseases we don't have in Australia. Most cured delicatessen meats/smallgoods like salami and pepperoni are made with Australian pork as they are cured not cooked which means they can't use imported meat.

Moreover, Italian pizza usually doesn't have meat, whereas American pizza can have any type. Italian chefs never top their pizzas with pre-grated cheese. They use fresh mozzarella di Bufala.
The most unhealthy meats are processed meats (bacon, hot dogs, salami, deli meats) due to high salt, fat, and preservatives (nitrates/nitrites) linked to cancer, heart disease, and diabetes; followed by fatty red meats (beef, lamb, pork) and charred/burnt meats cooked at high temperatures, which form carcinogens; while even poultry becomes unhealthy with skin, heavy breading, and high sodium.
The Philly cheese steak is made with chopped beef and melted cheese. As for what kind of cheese, everyone agrees to disagree. Some like American cheese or Cheez Whiz. Others prefer provolone.

The type of meat used can vary, but pork is the most common choice for both salami and pepperoni. The meat is typically ground to a fine texture and mixed with fat to give the sausage its rich, moist texture. Salt is then added to the mixture to help preserve the meat and enhance its flavour.
Forbidden food substances include alcohol, pork, frog, carrion, the meat of carnivores, and animals that died due to illness, injury, stunning, poisoning, or slaughtering not in the name of God.
One final (and big) difference about kosher pizza, is that meat and dairy products are not allowed to be mixed (or eaten) together. Therefore, kosher pizza restaurants are not allowed to use real Pepperoni, Chicken, etc. as a topping, and typically go with a soy/tofu alternative.
