After circumcision, what's left is the penis with the foreskin removed, leaving the glans (head) exposed, with the remaining skin edges joined by a scar, which might be near the glans or further down the shaft, accompanied by normal healing signs like swelling, redness, and yellowish scabs or crusts, with the area gradually becoming pinker as it heals over days to weeks, requiring specific aftercare like ointment application and gentle cleaning.
It is normal for the penis to appear swollen and black and blue after surgery. This will get better after the first few days. Then, a whitish coating or 'yellowish slime' may appear on the head of the penis. This is part of the normal healing process and will soon go away.
