The mechanics of fraternal polyandry are simple. Two, three, four, or more brothers jointly take a wife, who leaves her home to come and live with them. Traditionally, marriage was arranged by parents, with children, particularly females, having little or no say.
Fraternal polyandry (from the Latin frater—brother), also called adelphic polyandry (from the Greek ἀδελφός—brother), is a form of polyandry in which a woman is married to two or more men who are brothers.

However, in the Himalayan region of Nepal, brothers marry one wife and this form of marriage is called polyandry. This is mainly as a means of survival because families own very small portions of land and they prefer to still keep the property in the family.

Your Half Brothers' Wife
In some families there are siblings who only share one parent and they are referred to as half-siblings. This use of the “half” term carries over to that sibling's spouse which means that your half brother's wife is your half-sister-law.
Polyandry is illegal in virtually every country. A number of countries permit polygyny among Muslims in their communities. Some countries that permit polygyny have restrictions, such as requiring the first wife to give her consent.

“A man may be able to emotionally commit and attach himself to two women at the same time. However, in most cases, a woman will not be able to do the same. Women are emotionally inclined to attach and commit differently than men. Unlike men, women practice and pursue exclusivity in romance,” he says.
Levirate marriage is a type of marriage in which the brother of a deceased man is obliged to marry his brother's widow. Levirate marriage has been practiced by societies with a strong clan structure in which exogamous marriage (i.e. marriage outside the clan) is forbidden.

While cousin marriage is legal in most countries, and avunculate marriage is legal in several, sexual relations between siblings are considered incestuous almost universally, regardless of legality. Still, sibling marriage is legally prohibited in most countries worldwide.
The risk for passing down a genetic disease is much higher for siblings than first cousins. To be more specific, two siblings who have kids together have a higher chance of passing on a recessive disease to their kids.
Another word is consanguinamory, which means consensual adult relationships between relatives. There are only a few countries in the world where a brother and sister can get marriage licenses. Consanguinamorous marriage is in the same legal state that gay marriage was thirty years ago.
In the United States, second cousins are legally allowed to marry in every state. However, marriage between first cousins is legal in only about half of the American states. All in all, marrying your cousin or half-sibling will largely depend on the laws where you live and personal and/or cultural beliefs.

Because it can produce sperm competition, polyandry creates the potential for conflict over female-mating rate—for example, males may attempt to prevent their mates from mating with another male. Sexual conflict over female-mating rate may, therefore, be stronger in polyandrous than monandrous species.

Three-quarter siblings are siblings who are genetically half way between full siblings and half siblings. This can happen, for example, if they share the same father but different mothers but their mothers are sisters which makes them effectively both half-siblings and first cousins.
