Elephants have no true natural enemies as adults, but their biggest threats are humans (poaching, habitat loss) and, for young/weak individuals, lions, hyenas, and crocodiles; however, humans remain the worst enemy, causing far more deaths through illegal ivory trade and conflict than any animal.
