The blue lightsaber is representative of a Jedi Guardian, a Jedi who is more physical with the force than others. Blue is the starting color of Fallen Order's protagonist, Cal Kestis, and the color itself can symbolize important traits of the Jedi code: stability, loyalty, and trust.
While Cal Kestis' lightsaber is canonically blue, there's a huge number of other colors that Cal's lightsaber can be changed to. Thankfully, you can change your lightsaber color very soon after you start Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
Cal Kestis' second lightsaber first appeared in the 2019 video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Although the canon color of the weapon's blade is blue, its kyber crystal can be customized with the other possible colors of green, orange, purple, yellow, indigo, cyan, and magenta.
Cal's hair is Orange, and his signature poncho also has a bit of orange on it which is a very close shade of orange to the shade of color on the orange lightsaber. Secondly, the Orange lightsaber was a pre-order bonus.
Cal Kestis is the only known Jedi to wield an indigo lightsaber. In the video game, The Fallen Order, his saber is a bluish, purple color. It is one of the many colors of sabers he owns. This color of lightsaber represents spirituality, wisdom, and intuition.
But Cal Kestis doesn't appear to ever find a red lightsaber crystal. This is intentional, of course. Those who are fans of the franchise and of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in particular know that Cal isn't exactly a Sith-in-the-making. The red crystal, for this reason, doesn't seem to go with his vibe.

Cal is also wearing a thick glove to protect him from the sharp metals that a scrapper must deal with on a daily basis.
The Edgehawk lightsaber is one that a player may expect from a Sith, so if players want to see their Cal Kestis wield something more in line with the Dark Side of the Force, then the Edgehawk lightsaber is certainly the one to choose due to its menacing nature.
Cal has had a tattoo on the inside of his right wrist since his refuge on Bracca, for example, which is a bit of visual storytelling itself. In the midst of other customization options, though, it would be incredible if players could customize Cal's tattoo.
Silver Lightsabers
In Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan Kenobi uses a silver lightsaber when he faces off against his former apprentice, Darth Vader. This represents the end of Kenobi's time as a Jedi and the beginning of his new role as a protector of peace.
Just as fans are able to choose the color of Cal's saber in Jedi: Fallen Order, the fans can change the color of the Legacy LIGHTSABER Blade (sold separately) with the push of a button. The blade can change to many different colors including Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow, White or Red.
Jaro Tapal then got shot and didn't make it. He gave his lightsaber to Cal Kestis before he, sadly, died. That is why, in the game, the lightsaber appears to be broken on the bottom, Cal eventually fixes it but during a vision of fighting his Master his lightsaber and crystal becomes broken.

Nevertheless, it seems that Bode betrayed Cal in order to keep his daughter alive and further his own interests. However, that isn't the most shocking thing that happens during this encounter.
What Is Cal Kestis' Canon Lightsaber Color? Since the game itself is canon, fans have to speculate on Cal Kestis' canon lightsaber color — but by all accounts, the answer is blue. The cut scenes and promotional materials show him with a blue lightsaber, as does other merchandise, like the Black Series action figures.
Cal's tattoo is never talked about during Fallen Order, so we don't have a definitive answer as to what it's supposed to represent, but it's been speculated that it's an identification tattoo given to Bracca workers. Concept art for Fallen Order also refers to it as a "company tattoo", which supports that theory.
The Sith apprentice Darth Maul wielded a double-bladed lightsaber made by joining two hilts together end-to-end. Maul's dexterity and extensive training allowed him to use his weapon as a single-bladed saber, or to activate both crimson blades and fight multiple opponents at once.
At this point in time, there's no explanation in canon about how to turn a Kyber Crystal black. The black crystal is extremely rare and at the time of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the Darksaber is in the hands of Darth Maul. There's no plausible way for Cal to canonically get his hands on it.
