The intermammary cleft or intermammary sulcus or sulcus intermammarius is a surface feature of males and females that marks the division of the two breasts with the sternum (breastbone) in the middle.

One of the more frequent problems we encounter is the “cleavage gap”- a wide, unattractive spacing between the breasts that becomes very noticeable when wearing a bikini or low-cut top.
Typically, if you have gaping bra cups, your breasts are resting at the bottom of the cups. To fix this, start by tightening the bra straps, ensuring your band stays straight across your back. If your cups fit well but there is still a gap at the top, consider going down a cup size or choosing a different style of bra.
