Professor Quirinus Quirrell (26 September,1970 or earlier – 4 June,1992) was a half-blood wizard who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was Sorted into Ravenclaw House.
Quirinus Quirrell is a former Ravenclaw™ student at Hogwarts™ School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He is fond of wearing a turban and has a mysterious connection to Lord Voldemort™.
While Quirrell did not lose his soul, he became completely subjugated by Voldemort, who caused a frightful mutation of Quirrell's body: now Voldemort looked out of the back of Quirrell's head and directed his movements, even forcing him to attempt murder.
Quirinus Quirrell served as a temporary Horcrux when Voldemort's soul possessed his body in 1991. However, the piece of the soul survived Quirrell's demise, and was destroyed six years later when Voldemort was killed.
Quirrell, curiously, is apparently the only evil character that utters the name "Voldemort", though he does it ("at least", so to say) with the respectful "Lord" before it.
Mad-Eye Moody is a Hufflepuff.
Voldemort's desire to beat death and become immortal was also why he and Quirrell ended up slaying innocent unicorns. Drinking the blood of a unicorn would keep someone alive – even if they were an inch from death. However, it is considered an act of evil to kill something so pure.
Quirinus Quirrell's classroom, as well as his turban, were said to smell strongly of garlic, which many students believed was to protect against a vampire Quirrell claimed to have met on his travels in Romania.

Moaning Myrtle
Born in the late 1920s to Muggle parents, Myrtle Warren started her Hogwarts life in the early 1940s, where she was sorted into Ravenclaw. She had no friends, and was bullied relentlessly because of her glasses and acne.
Peter Pettigrew, (a.k.a. Wormtail), is the only Death Eater known to have been in a House other than Slytherin (Gryffindor) while at Hogwarts. There, he was a close friend of Sirius Black, James Potter, and Remus Lupin, although he was the least intelligent and least talented of the group.
The Heir of Ravenclaw was an individual prophesized by the centaur Harmonthrep (Ajrand) to bring honor and glory to the House of Ravenclaw. The Heir of Ravenclaw was in time revealed to be Brian Dumbledore (Ajrand).

Helga Hufflepuff
'Sweet Hufflepuff, from valley broad' was one of the four founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Known for being kind and caring, and especially loved for her food-related charms.
At Hogwarts, she, along with her sisters, was sorted into Slytherin. It is suggested in the novels that, as a student, Bellatrix associated with a group of students – including Rodolphus Lestrange, Severus Snape, Avery, Evan Rosier and Wilkes – who nearly all became Death Eaters.
Quirrell was only 20 years old at the time he returned to Hogwarts wearing He Who Must Not Be Named on the back of his head.
The most obvious mention of stuttering was the character Professor Quirrell. In the end we discover that Professor Quirrell faked stuttering as to seem aloof and not draw attention to his plotting with the evil Voldemort.
In 1992, Lord Voldemort used unicorn blood to sustain his life, until he could steal the Philosopher's Stone in order to regain his true body. As he was possessing Quirinus Quirrell and inhabiting his body at the time, Quirrell drank the blood on Voldemort's behalf.
When they reach Fluffy, Harry, Hermione, and Ron notice a harp by his feet and realize that someone has already passed by Fluffy. Harry plays a flute he has brought, putting Fluffy to sleep and allowing his gang to go through the trapdoor.
Snape's explanation to the Death Eaters was that he knew nothing of Voldemort's involvement, but "saw only greedy and unworthy Quirrell attempting to steal the stone." It was confirmed in Deathly Hallows that Snape had been "keeping an eye" on Quirrell on Dumbledore's orders.
You have slain something pure and defenseless to save yourself, and you will have but a half-life, a cursed life, from the moment the blood touches your lips. Firenze explains to Harry Potter why the slaying of a unicorn is a crime.
One exception is Dobby, who was the house-elf of the Malfoy family; he was so ill-treated there that he rebelled and eventually left their employ when Harry managed to engineer his receiving a sock from his master, Lucius Malfoy.
Tom was educated at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1938 to 1945, and was Sorted into Slytherin House, a nod to his ancestor Salazar Slytherin himself.
Barty eventually began attending Hogwarts, where he was sorted into Ravenclaw.
