Multiplying two numbers ending in 5s is done by multiplying the left side of the numbers with one of them incremented and then adding 25 at the end. For example, 25 x 25 is (2×3)=6 is the prefix and add 25 as the postfix to it. So, the answer is 625.
When you multiply a number by 1, it just stays the same. When you multiply a number by 10, it jumps one place to the left in the place value chart. When you multiply a number by 100, it will jump two places to the left in the place value chart, as you are making it 100 times bigger.
