The death of Baldur is ultimately the result of Ivar the Boneless' failure to heed his father's advice. During their two-man "raid" of Wessex,
Freydis says Baldur's deformity is a true sign of the Gods favor as she told him when they first met. The shocked and saddened Ivar leaves Baldur to die at night, unknown to Freydis. It is later confirmed that his remains were found eaten by foxes.
Summary. Ivar the Boneless, the main antagonist in Vikings, dies in battle after seeing his brother exhausted and injured, sacrificing himself for his survival. While the real-life Ivar the Boneless' death is uncertain, some speculate that he may have died from a sudden and horrible disease.
However, Ragnar was passionate after such a long separation and did not heed her words. As a result, Ivar was born with weak bones. Another hypothesis is that he was actually known as "the Hated", which in Latin would be Exosus.

Unable to bear the pain, Judith reveals that the father is Athelstan. Æthelwulf does not believe her, but Ecbert does. He says, "Athelstan is a holy man. I cannot blame my daughter-in-law for being attracted to such a man." Judith is released and Ecbert commands the child be baptizes as Alfred.
Bjorn Ironside
This Ironside was a legendary Swedish king who may be familiar to fans of Vikings on the History Channel. Bjorn was the son of Ragnar Lothbrok and was renowned for the raids he led on France, England and along the Mediterranean coastline.
Ragnar Lothbrok had at least seven sons. According to the historical accounts of Ragnar Lothbrok, through his first marriage, he had two sons, Agnar and Eric. Through his second marriage, he may have had five sons. Ivar the Boneless, Sigurd Snake-in-the-eye, Bjorn Ironside, Ubba, and Hvitserk.
After the breakdown of their marriage, it is made clear that Ragnar still loved Lagertha. When he reunited with her for the first time since she divorced him he admitted to the Seer that he still loves her and wished for her to stay with him in Kattegat.
Upon Ragnar's return, he is furious with Aslaug when he learns his sons nearly died and Siggy did saving them. Aslaug is questioned as to why she was not caring for their sons. He is highly suspicious of her story, enough so that he even refrains from making love to her.
Later, as Floki sits in a field he has a vision. Aslaug comes to him. They make love. It is a vision of something actually happening, far off in Kattegat, where Aslaug and the mysterious wanderer, Harbard, have sex in a field.
Yidu gives him "Chinese Medicine" which appears to be betel nut which is eaten wrapped in leaves with paste. This can be clearly seen as it turns Ragnar's mouth and saliva red.

WORST: KEEPING THE VIKING MASSACRE A SECRET
Leaving Vikings in Wessex with no defense at the mercy of Ecbert's armies was one of the most foolish decisions Ragnar ever made. As the King of Denmark, he was responsible for all his countrymen, which meant he had to avenge the evils of king Ecbert on his people.
Viewers were led to believe that was the end of Floki, but the beloved trickster returned in season 6B and made it to the final episode alive, and to everyone's surprise, he had already arrived at the “New World”, where he reunited with Ubbe.
It's unknown which year Vikings season 4 is set in, and as Ragnar didn't seem to age much throughout the series, fans get confused over his age. The “real” Ragnar might have died sometime between 852 and 856, which in the series would have made him 89-93 years old, which doesn't seem possible.
