After Lola dies in the show Reign, her son, John Philip (Jean-Philippe), is orphaned and taken back to England, with Stephane Narcisse (his stepfather) promising to care for him, though he ends up raised at the French court with his lineage as King Francis's illegitimate son being known, making him a significant figure despite losing both parents.
During the finale, Lola was said to have gone missing and her son to be dead which was all caused by Condé. However, Narcisse came to their rescue and found her and the baby in the house that they were sent to.
