Connor then dies in
Connor died at Angel's own hand so that he could be "reborn" into his new life, technically fulfilling the once-false prophecy that "the father will kill the son." Other than Angel, and some special cases like Cordelia and Eve, everyone's memories were rewritten to accommodate this new reality.
Although Gunn and Fred were furious that Wesley hadn't informed them of what had happened and allowed Connor to remain with them, Angel was grateful to Wesley for the rescue. Although offered forgiveness, Wesley refused to return.
Angel kills the demon. Its blood, eventually found to be the Blood of Eternity, merges with his own, and he becomes human. Realizing what this means for their relationship, Angel spends the night with Buffy.
You have to remember it's a long story arc." Many people were disturbed that Cordelia slept with Connor, and Charisma Carpenter agrees: "I hear a lot of "ewwww," and I agree. It is ewwwy. Only something deplorable and devilish and truly evil could do something so horrid."
In her final hours, Cordelia curiously became the pseudo-villain of the series after being possessed by the malevolent entity Jasmine. Instead of getting the kind of epic, valiant sendoff that other villains-turned-scoobies did for their finales, Cordelia simply fell into a coma and died unceremoniously in a hospital.
In total, Cordelia is the victim of mystical pregnancy three times during the series: from a Haxil beast in this episode, as host of an unborn Skilosh demon in "Epiphany," and from Connor while possessed by Jasmine, as first revealed in "Salvage."
Towards the end of season four, events take their toll on Connor's sanity, and his memories are rewritten to give him a normal life. The next time he appears in season five, Connor is a well-adjusted person. At the return of his memories, Connor finally reconciles with Angel in the series finale.
Later, in Angel's perfect-day dream sequence, Angel and Cordelia consummated their relationship, but Angel called out "Buffy!" as he lost his soul, just as he did in Sunnydale years earlier.

She appears as a regular in the first three seasons before exiting the show to join the spin-off Angel after graduating from Sunnydale High. Cordy actually ends up dating Xander Harris despite how much they've always hated each other.
Angel's Series Finale Ends On A Cliffhanger
Angel infiltrates the group, renouncing the prophecy and giving up any chance of becoming human to convince them of his loyalty. The team then has one last day on Earth, with Angel telling them they're probably going to die.
Not only does he find out his son is alive, but he is expecting another child with his girlfriend, Nails (Justina Adorno), while also trying to protect his younger brother, EZ (JD Pardo), now a full-fledged member of the Mayans and a constant target for violence.
Tl;dr: Jasmine possessed Cordelia when she left the higher dimension; the memory restoration only triggered Jasmine's control over Cordelia; Cordelia slept with Connor in the sense that Jasmine was possessing her body at the time; Cordelia's body was pregnant with Connor's baby but it wasn't exactly a baby.
Season 4, Episode 5, "Death of the Virgin," Adelita gets her son back, but the cost is bloody. Earlier in Mayans M.C. Season 4, Adelita began stalking a man named Hector in New Mexico. At the start of "Death of the Virgin," Adelita attacks Hector and his wife, Anna Linares, at home.
She was emptied out, replaced. Darla was subsumed with Connor's human soul. Fred became a shell through which Illyria could be reborn. And Cordelia's entire history was erased to make room for Jasmine.
In the fourth season of Angel, she appears to take on a villainous role before it is revealed that she is possessed by a malevolent deity; this storyline eventually leads to her death and subsequent exit from the series.
Amid the celebration, star Charisma Carpenter spoke out on the controversial end of her fan-favorite character, Cordelia Chase, who was written out at the end of Season 4. Asked whether there was anything in her character's story that she wished she could have explored further, Carpenter took a long pause.
He even finds love in the arms of the new girl, Fred Burkle, but his past still comes back to haunt him in the episode "Double or Nothing", when the demon Jenoff decides it is time to cash in on a deal made years earlier by claiming Gunn's soul. The Angel Investigations are able to defeat Jenoff.

Cordelia becomes part-demon. Her transformation, and the motivations behind it, play an important part in the events of season four. Cordelia learns that her receiving the visions wasn't part of the Powers That Be's plans.
In season 4 Cordelia fell into a coma after giving birth to the entity Jasmine who possessed her. Cordelia's life-force having been drained into Jasmine.
One of the main reasons why she left the show was so she could become one of the main cast in the spin-off series Angel. The spin-off focussed on Buffy's love interest and David Boreanaz.
