There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
Many believers claim that 1 Corinthians 10:13 teaches “God won't give you more than you can handle.” This verse states, “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man.
Philippians 4:11–13
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
19:26 But Jesus beheld their thoughts, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but if they will forsake all things for my sake, with God whatsoever things I speak are possible.
Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.
God will never let you down
The Lord is mighty—the Almighty (Re 19:6). He has made many promises, and He who promised is faithful (He 10:23). God didn't let down the Israelites in Egypt. He won't let you down, either.
Paul tells us: “God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength but with your testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
Instead, Micah listed out the three principles of what God asks of His people: to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with Him.
Sometimes when bad things happen, they empower us to act and serve. Even the Savior, our example, suffered infirmities, “that his bowels may be filled with mercy” and so that He could know “how to succor his people” (Alma 7:12). Trials can open our eyes to those who are suffering.
So, instead of abandoning us or retaliating against us, he offers us a gift, the best gift that has ever been given: his Son, crucified and raised to life again. And he promises he will reign over us in an eternal kingdom that is far better than any of us could ever ask for or imagine.
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
God gives life and takes life away. Christians believe this because they believe that God is the Giver of Life (1) and are therefore accountable to Him and that only God may take life away from us (3). They also see Him as the person that chooses when we are born and when it is our time to go.
Paul's question “Who can be against us?” answers itself: If God is for us, of course no one can be against us! And Paul goes on to say, “In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
He spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all; how shall he not with him freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32).
Laughter Without Sorrow, nor Sun Without Rain, but He Did Promise Strength for the Day, Comfort for the Tears, and Light for the Way.
God is promising that whatever our hard times are, they aren't part of a plan for Him to harm us. His plan is to give us hope. And He promises to listen to us when we pray. He also promises that when we seek Him with all our hearts that we will find Him.

Like Philippians 4:13, Philippians 4:19 is a popular verse that's often misused. After thanking the Philippians for generously supporting him, the Apostle Paul writes, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
