What looks like frog's eggs are actually sweet basil seeds; commonly known as sabja, tukmaria or falooda seeds in South Asia. They are mostly used in cold, sweet drinks as they add texture and have cooling properties.

Female frogs lay a bunch of eggs in water, they cover these with a jelly like coating to protect them. These eggs float in the form of a cluster which is called a spawn.
What eats frogspawn? Dragonfly larva, water boatmen, birds and snakes are all known to eat frogspawn.

The female snail lays her eggs in a jelly material that absorbs water, swelling into the horseshoe-shaped sausage egg sac you find washed up on the beach. Amphibian Eggs
Unlike other tetrapod vertebrates (reptiles, birds, and mammals), amphibians do not produce amniotic eggs. Therefore, they must lay their eggs in water so they won't dry out. Their eggs are usually covered in a jelly-like substance, like the frog eggs shown in Figure below.
Egg masses may be clear or milky-white, and over time often develop a greenish color from algae. Spotted salamander egg masses tend to be more rotund in shape than Jefferson egg masses, which are more slender and cylindrical. The eggs develop for a period of thirty to fifty days and hatch from mid-May to June.
The egg masses are almost exactly the same except instead of the eggs being black on top and white on bottom, Pickerel Frog eggs are brown on top and yellow on bottom, which is unusual for amphibians that lay eggs in the open.
Yet, a person can tell the difference between frog and toad eggs because frog eggs are laid in clumps in the water, and toad eggs are laid in long ribbons that can sometimes get tangled up in aquatic plants. Frog eggs are called frog spawn while toad eggs are called toad spawn.
