In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the red stone is the Reality Stone, one of the six Infinity Stones. It grants the user the power to warp and manipulate reality itself.
The Reality Stone allows its users to create illusions and even change the fabric of reality. It was first used by the Malekith, leader of the Dark Elves, in an attempt to bring an eternal darkness to all of the Nine Realms, but his planned was foiled by Odin's father Bor.
Reality Stone: Given by the Warriors Three, Collector was entrusted with the Aether, a liquified-form of the Reality Stone, shortly after the Second Dark Elf Conflict because the Asgardians deemed it unwise to keep two Infinity Stones in proximity as the Tesseract was in Odin's Vault.
Trivia. In the comics, the orange-colored (previously green) Soul Gem gives the owner the power to alter and manipulate all souls. It also acts as a gateway to its own pocket dimension. When used in conjunction with the other gems, it gives the user complete control over all life in the universe.

The Mark 42 (or XLII) Iron Man armor is special because it's an autonomous, modular suit that can assemble itself around Tony Stark, controlled by microchips in his arms, allowing remote operation and deployment in separate pieces, making it his first "summonable" armor but also prone to malfunctions as a prototype. It's famous for its unique gold-and-red design and the ability to fly in segments to surround Tony, even letting others wear parts of it, though it was still experimental.

J.A.R.V.I.S. was replaced by F.R.I.D.A.Y. in the MCU because J.A.R.V.I.S. evolved into the sentient being Vision at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, leaving Tony Stark needing a new primary AI for his suit, with F.R.I.D.A.Y. serving as the next step in his AI development, not just a temporary fix.
In other words, Thanos could try to use just the Reality Stone to wipe out half of all life, but the Reality Stone wouldn't reach the entire universe, and Thanos would have to focus on using the Reality Stone's power 24/7 to keep all of those dead.

The first F-bomb in the MCU was dropped by Chris Pratt as Peter Quill (Star-Lord) in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 during a scene where he tells Nebula to "open the f***ing door," a moment that broke the long-standing PG-13 language barrier for Marvel Studios films and was partially improvised by Pratt.
