The term Bible does not appear anywhere in the Quran. The term Old Testament and New Testament does not appear anywhere in the Quran. The Quran actually confirms the original revelation that was given to Prophet Moses called the Tawrah (Torah) and the Enjeel (the Gospel) that was revealed to Prophet Jesus.
Muslims view the Bible as holding value due to its inclusion of divine messages despite alterations. The Quran encourages Muslims to consult the Scriptures held by Christians and Jews to validate information, emphasizing the importance of continuous guidance and fostering mutual understanding through dialogue.
The Qur'an never mentions the “Bible,” instead the Taurat, Zabur, and Injeel are written about in the Qur'an. The Taurat is the Law of Moses, which is a reference to Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. The Zabur is the Psalms of David. The Injeel is the Gospel of Jesus.
[9.29] Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.
The Bible is taught to be a source of guidance for Jews and Christians who wish to know the will of God, and so the Qur'an encourages Jews and Christians to obey their scripture and never asks them to deny it.
Muhammad had a generally positive view of Christians and viewed them as fellow receivers of Abrahamic revelation (People of the Book). However, he also criticised them for some of their beliefs. He sent various letters to Christian world leaders inviting them to "Submission to God" (Islam).
Quran 7:27, from Surah Al-A'raf, warns the Children of Adam against Satan's (Shaitan) deception, reminding them how he tricked their parents (Adam and Eve) out of Paradise by revealing their nakedness, and emphasizes that Satan and his forces watch humans from where they cannot see, making devils allies to disbelievers. The verse serves as a caution against temptation, highlighting the continuous struggle between good (divine guidance) and evil (Satan's influence).
The Quran refers to Jews and Christians as "People of the Book" (Ahl al-Kitab), acknowledging their shared monotheistic heritage with Islam, but also contains verses that caution against taking them as close allies (awliya), particularly in specific historical contexts of conflict, while other verses emphasize shared faith and good treatment, promoting kindness and mutual respect, especially towards those who are not hostile. Key themes include recognizing their prophets (Moses, Jesus) and scriptures (Torah, Gospels) but seeing Islam as the final, complete revelation, and verses warn against allegiance that undermines Muslim faith, while also promising reward for good deeds to believers from any of these faiths.
It is He who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth and what emerges from it and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein; and He is with you wherever you are. And Allah , of what you do, is Seeing.
The name mentioned nearly 7,000 times in the original Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) is God's personal name, known as the Tetragrammaton (YHWH), which is commonly rendered as Jehovah in English translations like the New World Translation. The word "day" (in its singular Arabic form, yawm) is often cited as appearing 365 times in the Quran, corresponding to the days in a solar year, though this count can vary depending on whether possessive forms (like "their day") are included, with some sources finding 365 for the singular form and a higher total for all forms. This numerical observation is presented by some as a Quranic miracle related to astronomy, symbolizing the Earth's solar orbit.

Why not, instead, go straight to the point: “Yâ' Allâh!” since He is the highest court of appeal and in ultimate control. In a case of emergency or of extreme emotion, “O my God!” may be used in the sense of appealing to Allah for a remedy to an unacceptable situation.
The Christian Scriptures are still valid and Christians are commanded: “Let the people of the Gospel judge by what God has sent down in it” (Qur'an 5:47). Therefore, according to the Qur'an, Muslims are meant to defend the Bible.
Muslims view Christians to be People of the Book, but may also regard them as committing shirk (idolatry) because of the doctrines of the Trinity and the Incarnation. Christians are traditionally classified as dhimmis (non-muslims) paying jizya (tax on non-muslims) under Sharia law.
