Polly makes a deal with Luca offering to sacrifice Thomas in exchange for the lives of Arthur, Michael, and Finn while they charm each other. Luca doesn't trust Polly easily, he uses Michael to threaten her that he can reach her son at any time and he will kill her only son if she can't deliver Thomas.

One of Rene Enriquez's most prominent gang tattoos is called the Black Hand of Death. It's stamped with the word "eme," or the letter 'M' in Spanish. It's a symbol for the Mexican Mafia.
The Black Hand took over the older group's work of anti-Austrian propaganda within Serbia, which included sabotage, espionage and political murders abroad — especially in provinces Austria-Hungary wished to annex. The group included many radicals, government officials, professionals and army officers.
Peaky Blinders didn't make anything up, however: delivering the black hand was a well-known threatening method employed by Camorra's members for purposes of extortion; and the image of the black hand has terrorized many between Southern Italy and the United States.
Black Hand has been received as a compelling villain, particularly noted for his role in the Blackest Night storyline, which has been praised for its depth and emotional weight.
Powers and Abilities
Life-Force Absorption: Following the actions of extraterrestrials who subjected him to experimentation, he now has a means to recreate his hand. The experiments granted Black Hand the ability to consume the life-force of the living to create a new hand for himself.
But without McCrory, the show acted swiftly in deciding Polly's fate. In the opening of Peaky Blinders' sixth season, it's revealed that Polly has been killed by the very same people who ruined Tommy's assassination plan against Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin) in the season 5 finale.
