He wore a grim-looking skull mask. He also had black claws instead of hands with his signature “Death” written on the right forearm, and a deep, menacing voice. He has been shown to have skeleton hands during the scene of flaying of Asura. He also additionally possessed more, human-like large gloves.
History. Death the Kid was born from a fragment of Death's own soul to have a death god who was able to move freely. In an effort to ensure he doesn't turn out much like Asura, he was purposely born with a childish nature so he may learn fear much like humans would and was given incomplete Lines Of Sanzu.
Death came into existence when Shinra Kusakabe recreated his world into one where life is less valued than death. Death was made to be the god of this new world and his first act was to confiscate the pyrokinetic powers, deeming it to be far too powerful for mankind to have.
In the anime, Lord Death says that he wears the mask because young children used to cry and run away from him when he wore a similar one that looked more menacing. So they definitely would cry if they saw he had no face at all.

Kid suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder, or OCPD, which is manifested as an obsession over symmetry, otherwise known as asymmetriphobia. Objects and surroundings that are symmetrical can distract him from missions, and will usually start to break down and have fits if he notices asymmetrical objects around him.

Typically, they are non responsive, their eyes are partially open, the skin color is palish often with a yellowish or bluish tint, and the skin is cool to cold to the touch. It is assumed that Death the Kid's overall power in the anime is the same period as he was prior to the first connection of the Lines of Sanzu, making him most likely the most powerful student Meister within the Academy and one of the most powerful DWMA members overall.
Death God's Immortality
As Gods, the Death Gods are immortal, unless they are Immature such as Death the Kid before connecting the Lines of Sanzu, making them impossible to kill by normal means but even they can be killed under certain circumstances, showing that this immortality is not absolute.
Although this fact is kept hidden at first in the manga and never touched on in the anime, Asura and Death the Kid are actually brothers, as both of them were created by Lord Death.
Immortality (不死, Fushi): As a result of being a Reaper and the embodiment of fear, Asura possesses immortality and cannot be killed conventionally.
