Sweet. Despite the fact Queen Elizabeth II was officially called 'Ma'am' or 'Your Majesty' to the majority of people, Prince William and Prince Harry were let off the hook when it came to the Queen, and were always encouraged to call her 'Granny'.
Upon marrying Prince William in 2011, Kate was officially named Her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Cambridge. It was her first and longest-held role. Today, she retains the title of Duchess of Cambridge, despite her ascension to Princess of Wales.

The Princess of Wales is now the new honorary Colonel of the Irish Guards, a title that formally belonged to her husband, Prince William.
When Prince William becomes King, his wife Kate will become Queen, but not in the same way that Queen Elizabeth II was queen. Kate, who will be the spouse of the ruling monarch whenever William ascends, will have the title Queen Consort. The title of 'consort' refers simply to the spouse of a ruling monarch.
"Without William, Kate would curtsy to Camilla; with him, she would not," the source continued. "That's unless Prince Charles is present, in which case she would." The order of curtsying, however, can change. This could happen when people marry into the family.

The queen stood with her family, and as Diana's funeral cortege passed by, she bowed her head. It was not a quick bow, nor a shallow one. The woman accustomed to being bowed by the world now lowered her head and humbly honored the princess.

Meanwhile, the Queen Consort presented Kate with a gold link charm bracelet as a wedding gift. The bracelet features a gold disc engraved with a C for Catherine and a coronet on one side, and a crown and C for Camilla on the other.
William allegedly called Markle “difficult,” “rude,” and “abrasive,” to which Harry replied that his older brother was parroting false media narratives. Harry accused his brother of “acting like an heir,” and the two exchanged insults.
