Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 says tells us what happens when a person dies. It says, “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was; and the spirit shall return to God who gave it.” In other words, when a person dies, his or her spirit goes back to God, the body returns to dust and the soul of that person no longer exist.
The Bible speaks about death in two ways. There is death the way we normally think about it, the severing of the body and the spirit. Then there is what the Bible calls “the second death.” The second death is simply the judgment of God in which the body and the soul are cast into hell (Revelation 20:14; 21:8).
In Christ all shall be made alive. If you put your faith in Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, God Himself, you will be made alive. Death does NOT get the final say. Though your body on this earth will fail and death is imminent, you can have life eternal simply by being in Christ.
In fact, the Bible indicates we will know each other more fully than we do now. The Apostle Paul declared, "Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known" (1 Corinthians 13:12). It's true that our appearance will change, because God will give us new bodies, similar to Jesus' resurrection body.
The reunion of believing loved ones
When Paul writes to believers who grieve the loss of a loved one, he offers them this comfort: “We who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air” (1 Thessalonians 4:17, emphasis mine).

Just before he breathed his last breath, Jesus uttered the phrase “it is finished.” Jesus knew that his mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture he said, “I am thirsty.” A jar of sour wine was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it up to his lips.

By dying you unlocked the gates of life for those who believe in you: do not let our brother/ sister be parted from you, but by your glorious power give him/her light, joy and peace in heaven where you live and reign forever and ever. Amen.
One of the most common and well-known near-death experiences for those who die and come back is seeing a bright, white light. This white light isn't something to be afraid of. In fact, most report it coming with a sense of peace or even happiness. Many have speculated about the symbolism behind the bright light.
We enter heaven immediately upon our death, or our souls sleep until the second coming of Christ and the accompanying resurrection. Most have chosen to believe what the Bible appears to overwhelmingly propose: our souls (spirits) penetrate heaven immediately after we take our final breath.
On the Day of Resurrection the soul will be returned to a new body and people will stand before God for judgement. Those who have believed in God and have pleased him through good works will be rewarded with Heaven, or paradise, where they shall live for eternity. Those who have disobeyed God will be punished in Hell.
No matter what a person's preference is, from the Christian perspective, cremation does not prevent one from going to Heaven.
There are no limits to what God can do (Matthew 19:26.). He is omnipotent. All powerful. God set up a system to forgive us here and now, not afterward, and that's the way it is.
What does the Bible say about cremation? According to most Biblical study websites, there is no explicit scriptural command for or against cremation. There are no passages that forbid cremation, according to most Biblical scholars.
First word: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34). Second word: “... Truly I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43). Third word: “Woman, behold your son” and “Behold your mother” (John 19:26, 27).
One first word from Jesus, “Father, forgive them for they no not what they do.” And three words from us. O God, forgive them.
Luke 23:45b-46: And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!" And having said this he breathed his last.
The last person to whom God is said to have "appeared" is Solomon; this occurs early in the next biblical book, the book 1 Kings (3:5; 9:2; 11:9).
The New Commandment is a term used in Christianity to describe Jesus's commandment to "love one another" which, according to the Bible, was given as part of the final instructions to his disciples after the Last Supper had ended, and after Judas Iscariot had departed in John 13:30.
I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.
The question given to Jesus was who will be the woman's husband at the resurrection since she had several husbands. Jesus responded by saying that, like the angels, there won't be marriage in heaven. That doesn't mean there won't be sexual relationships in heaven.
Christians who knew and loved each other on earth will know and love each other in heaven. The life we enjoy in heaven is not going to be less than the life we enjoy now. In every respect it will be more. The whole point of this passage is to bring comfort to believers who grieve the loss of a loved one.
In heaven, the last person Eddie meets is a little girl named Tala. She reveals that she was killed at Eddie's hands during the war—she was the small shadow Eddie saw moving in the flaming hut. Eddie falls into a deep despair, now believing that he deserved the darkness he felt all of his life.
