Baking soda can be an effective way to remove permanent hair dye naturally because of its lightening properties. Try mixing baking soda with lemon juice, which is acidic, to create a paste. Then, work the paste through your hair, allow it to sit for five minutes, and rinse thoroughly.
Using a clarifying shampoo is by far the easiest way to lighten your hair. It will act faster than normal washing. Clarifying shampoos designed to get chlorine out of hair help with removal of black hair color. Anti-dandruff shampoos have also been known to strip some types of hair color from your hair.

Baking soda is one of the most effective methods to strip hair dye because it won't cause any damage. It is a scrubbing agent, but it works best only for hair that was freshly dyed. If you think you've made a mistake with your new hair color, mix two tablespoons of baking soda with water (half cup).
Rubbing alcohol and soap is another way to tackle dye stains. Wet a cotton ball with some rubbing alcohol and soap, rub it gently onto the affected area, and rinse when done. You can also apply a soapy mixture of baking soda and dishwashing liquid to the affected area with a washcloth. Rub gently and rinse off.

Your colourist may use bleach or sulfur-based stripping products to lighten your hair back to enable it to be re-dyed safely.
Remove your dye using a color-stripping product from your local beauty store. Rub the product through your hair and let it sit for 20-60 minutes before rinsing it out. For a home remedy, crush 12 vitamin C tablets into an anti-dandruff shampoo and massage the mixture into your hair.
Wash your hair with a larger amount of Dawn soap if you want to strip your hair color. Dilute the Dawn soap with an equal amount of water to avoid any negative reaction when washing your hair. Wet your hair and work the mixture through it until suds and bubbles form. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes.
Use Dish Soap…
Using a detergent that is meant to get tough grease out—like dish soap—works well to remove any color that can't hold on. If you color your hair and immediately hate it, an immediate shampoo with some dish soap will strip a lot of the color away.
Sulphate-rich shampoos are ideal for stripping hair since they help to release the colour - especially with dark or vibrant colours. These include clarifying or deep cleansing shampoo or anti-dandruff shampoo.
A lightening or clarifying shampoo can lift the color and help you get the desired result. You can request that your stylist use a shampoo that is designed to lighten your hair. You can also wash your hair with clarifying shampoo in between salon visits safely to lift the color even more.
Apple cider vinegar or distilled white vinegar are easy and cheap options for lightening your hair. Rinse your hair in vinegar and then rinse it again in cold water to lift color and revitalize dull strands. Top with a gloss or conditioner to seal in moisture—this is crucial if you've had a bleach mishap before.
