God, being a spirit, doesn't literally eat food like humans, but many religions teach that God accepts offerings of pure, loving devotion, such as simple items like leaves, flowers, or fruit, or the food people offer with love, which is then shared as blessed prasada. He loves munakka, honey, chana daal and bananas. Unlike Shiva who is content with whatever is offered to him as he is a yogi, Lord Vishnu is worshipped with an elaborate meal which may include 56 types of cooked and uncooked food items.
To be specific, Jesus drank water and wine, ate only whole grain bread, abstained from pork and shellfish, and ate large quantities of healthy foods like olive oil, grapes, figs, pomegranates, various kinds of vegetables, and fish. This is “the Jesus way of eating” [p. xv].
The only food God eats is PRAISE AND WORSHIP. How do i know this? because this is the only thing the Most high cannot do for himself, that is why he created man. If man refuses to praise him he said he will raise stones to praise him (Luke 10:14).
Food is mentioned repeatedly in the Bible, and both authors believe the core foods discussed can form the foundation of a healthy modern diet. Since it's clear Jesus drank wine and had no problem with it, some Christians argue that the wine wasn't alcoholic. It was just grape juice. Yet, when the master of the wedding party tastes the wine, he is surprised that it's the best wine he's had. Why? People usually bring out bad wine at the wedding's end.
Ecclesiastes 9:7 says, “Go, eat your bread with pleasure, and drink your wine with a cheerful heart, for God has already accepted your works.” 1 Corinthians 6:13a says, “Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food.” We cannot live a full life on empty. Our bodies need nourishment.
But how do we "taste" an invisible God? We taste God's goodness when we experience His grace in forgiving our sins. We taste it when we feel His peace in the midst of turmoil. We taste it when we witness His faithfulness in keeping His promises.
The favor of God is what God can do for you that you cannot do for yourself. It's His favor that opens the door of opportunity. It's His favor that turns opposition into support. It's His favor that can help you land the promotion, make the list, or seal the deal.
Matthew 4:4 shows us that God's Word somehow sustains life, as does bread in the physical realm. But we need more than physical food to enjoy life as God intended. God's Word is our spiritual food which will enrich our life. ROMANS 10:17 NKJ 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips.” The meaning of “choice food” is not clear; however, most commentaries conclude that Daniel avoided bread and sweets. The Message translation sums up Daniel's eating habits during that time: “I ate only plain and simple food.”

Until recently in human history, eggs were a delicacy, and they were eaten on special occasions. Domesticated chickens are not mentioned in the Bible, and eggs are only mentioned in relating to finding nests of wild birds.
Some have suggested that they would not have called Jesus a drunkard if He did not at the very least imbibe alcoholic wine on occasion. Others say the fact that Jesus never explicitly denied the charges means He at least consumed moderate amounts of alcohol.
God will prepare for us “a banquet of aged wine . . . the finest of wines” (Isaiah 25:6). Not only will we drink water and wine, we'll eat from fruit trees (Revelation 22:2), and there's every reason to believe we'll drink juice made from the twelve fruits of the tree of life.
He feels bodily thirst as he's pushed to his limits near death. His body is laid bare for all to look upon, spit upon, and mock. But, as many saints and scholars have noted, Jesus is groaning for something greater and even more significant in these final words before death: he is thirsting for souls.

Are there foods a Christian should not eat? Yes, the Bible teaches there are meats that are designated as “unclean” (or unfit) for human consumption. These meats include pork, shellfish and the meat of other specific animals, sea creatures and birds.
Paul states that all food is clean in Romans 14:20. There is nothing wrong with the apple.
Preparing for the Fast
The normal fast involves abstaining from all forms of food, but not from water, and commonly lasts 24 hours, from sunrise to sunrise. If you are fasting for the first time, you might begin by missing a meal or two. Over time, you can build up to a full day or more.
