"Came on him" generally means something happened to or affected him, often suddenly or powerfully, like an emotion, a realization, a divine presence, or even a physical event, depending heavily on the context, especially in religious texts where it can mean the Spirit or glory of God appeared or inspired him, as seen in biblical contexts like Samson or prophetic visions.
Joshua 24:14–15 Reminds Us to Serve God
And then for us to pray that God would save us from idols in our country. We must decide if we will serve God or ourselves. Let's do that. God, we start this prayer by saying you alone are God.

The Bible describes the night as divided into watches. Midnight to 3AM is the third watch. From 3AM to 6AM is the fourth. It was during this time that Jesus prayed and even walked on the water toward His disciples.
God the Father didn't come to Earth by Himself to die on the cross, fam, because of His divine plan. See, God sent Jesus, His Son, to be the sacrifice for our sins. Jesus was the perfect Lamb, without sin, and He was the one who could take on our punishment.

In our fast-paced and often chaotic world, Joshua 24:14-15 invites us to pause and reflect on our own spiritual journey. It prompts us to evaluate our priorities and recommit ourselves to serving God with sincerity and passion.
The story of Mary and Martha (Luke 10:38-42) teaches that while serving God is good, prioritizing presence with Jesus over frantic service is essential, as Mary chose the "better part" by listening at His feet, showing the importance of spiritual focus over distraction, anxiety, and the desire for perfect hospitality. It highlights that genuine devotion involves choosing intimacy with Christ (like Mary) even when tasks (like Martha's) call, and that our heart attitude in service matters more than the perfection of the service itself, reminding us to seek God's presence rather than becoming troubled or self-righteous.
Proposition: Joshua stayed young and vibrant spiritually until he died at 110. In his final words he warns those in the Promised Land not to backslide and turn away from God, His warning also applies to Spirit filled, Baptized believers in our day.
So while Jesus didn't always use the exact words “I am God” in a modern sense, His words and actions were clear to His audience. He claimed divinity in a way they understood, and that's why they responded as they did.
In the Bible, the number 30 can symbolize dedication to a particular task or calling. In Old Testament, priests were dedicated to serve at 30, in part because it was the age when a person reached both physical and mental maturity and could therefore handle major responsibilities.

In Scripture, God often used dreams to guide his people, reveal truth, or open their eyes to spiritual reality. And while not every dream today is prophetic, many dreams still carry emotional or symbolic meaning that can help you grow in self-awareness and intimacy with Jesus.
