Then Moses went out and spoke these words to all Israel: I am now a hundred and twenty years old and I am no longer able to lead you. The LORD has said to me, 'You shall not cross the Jordan. ' The LORD your God himself will cross over ahead of you.
Some of Moses' very last words were filled with encouragement for the children of Israel as they were crossing into the Promised Land-finally: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified…for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you,” Deuteronomy 31:6.
Moses's Last Word Was “Blessed”
But Moses blessed Israel instead of cursing them. He reminds them that they are saved by the Lord, and their future is bright in him.
All Moses saw was God's back, because God knew that if Moses were to see His face, Moses would be killed instantly.
' what shall I say to them?” God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: 'I am has sent me to you. '” God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: 'The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.
In response to this, the Lord gave Moses three signs. The first sign was of the rod turning into a serpent. The second sign was of his hand becoming leprous. The third sign was of the water turning to blood.
God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: `I AM has sent me to you. '" God also said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites, `The LORD, the God of your fathers--the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob--has sent me to you.
Sacred Scripture teaches that Enoch and Elijah were assumed into heaven while still alive and not experiencing physical death.
Again our Master Moses, peace be on him, saw many thrones of precious stones and pearls and gold and silver and yellow bronze, and the angels were guarding them. One did not resemble another.
In Part V of our series, we saw that God revealed his name to Moses in Exodus 3 as Yahweh, “I AM,” and that the meaning of God's name is bound up with God's presence to save his people, “I AM with you.” Toward the end of the book in Exodus 33–34, God explains the meaning of his name by proclaiming his own character.
Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still." Then the LORD said to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me?
what shall I say unto them? “And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you” (Exodus 3:7–8, 13–14).
Just before he breathed his last breath, Jesus uttered the phrase “it is finished.” Jesus knew that his mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture he said, “I am thirsty.” A jar of sour wine was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it up to his lips.
Luke 23:45b-46: And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!" And having said this he breathed his last.
"Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
Miriam and Aaron were jealous because Moses had two wives and because more of his attention would have been taken by the newly married woman. It is not unusual in an African setting for relatives and friends to be jealous when husbands are too occupied with two or three wives.
God is the One who decides who does or does not enter heaven. There's no place in the Bible that says they were saved. But there is no place in the Bible that indicates the couple was lost, either.
Moses saw God face-to-face upon an unknown mountain sometime after he spoke to the Lord in the burning bush but before he went to free the children of Israel from Egypt (see Moses 1:1–2, 17, 25–26, 42; see also Exodus 3:1–10).
Moses died there in the land of Moab, Moses the servant of GOD, just as GOD said. God buried him in the valley in the land of Moab opposite Beth Peor. No one knows his burial site to this very day. Moses was 120 years old when he died.
The Bible does not say in any part that it is only the 144,000 that will go to heaven. The revelation to John supports Matthew 8:11, which says that many will come from every corner of the earth to sit with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The number 144,000 that were sealed or chosen are not pre-chosen.
Because the Bible records Elijah as being taken to the heavens while still alive, he became a candidate for one who would one day return to proclaim the coming of the messiah. A second biblical figure that is said to never have died is Melchizedek, the ethereal priest-king of Salem.
Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven. He came down from Heaven to show us the way. He is the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the whole world. On the Cross, our salvation is complete.

These promises are based on Exodus 6:6-7, when God promises Moses that He would deliver the people of Israel from slavery. We believe that just as God fulfilled his promises for Israel, God has a plan to fulfill them for you through Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20).
He heard the voice of God with a message asking him to save the people who were enslaved in Egypt and lead them to the Promised Land.
In Eastern Orthodoxy a tradition exists, originating in the early Christian Church Fathers and its Ecumenical Synods (or Councils), that the flame Moses saw was in fact God's Uncreated Energies/Glory, manifested as light, thus explaining why the bush was not consumed.
