Red: Passion, Love, Anger.
Red is the most aggressive color. Seeing red increases metabolism and raises blood pressure. Red is also linked to anger and passion.
“Red” was indicated among the top three colors for anger, followed by jealousy, fear, and envy, respectively (Figure 2). The intensity of “red” for anger was high, whereas the intensity for “red” given to the other emotions was low-moderate (Table 2).
Red – The Color of Passion
In fact, of all the colors, red provokes the strongest emotions, and it is this level of drama that can trigger the opposing and powerful emotions of passion and love as well as anger and danger.
Red: The Color of Love and Hate.
The color red was most associated with anger, green with disgust, black with fear, yellow with happiness, blue with sadness, and bright with surprise. These associations may be a result of various expressions containing color terms that are used in the English language—for example, “seeing red” or “feeling blue.”
The nine colors that signifies each emotions are Green (Shringara), White (Hasya), Grey (Karuna), Red (Roudra), Orange (Veera), Black (Bhayanaka), Blue (Bheebhatsya), Yellow (Adbutha) and White (Shantha).
1- The colour red is connected with the heart, the centre of love and passion. The heart is frequently represented as a brilliant red symbol, and this link has contributed to red being a powerful symbol of love. 2- Because of its link with desire and passion, red is the colour of love.
According to color psychologists, the most stressful and anxiety-inducing color is 'red'. Red room ideas can be too intense for some people – could your red decor be one of the reasons why your friends hate your house? It reminds us of danger and is a color that makes you angry.
Red is the color of love, celebration, and passion. It's a popular color in romantic contexts, such as flowers, hearts, and gifts. Red is also associated with danger and warning. It's therefore used in stop signs, traffic lights, and warning labels.
The colour red is known to stimulate the energy of anger and can make it worse. Instead, try using blues and light greens which are calming colours. Use pastel colours for your bed sheets.
Blue the Color of Peace
As a primary color (and the most popular color on the spectrum), blue is a building block for many other colors and shades, but in its purest form, blue represents peace and tranquility. That's because blue is synonymous with such things as the daytime sky on a calm day.

Red Shades
Light red symbolizes joy, sexuality, passion, sensitivity and love. Pink signals romance, love and friendship. In addition, it highlights the female qualities and encourages passivity. Dark red is associated with energy, willpower, rage, anger, leadership, courage, longing and evil.
Pantone 448 C is a colour in the Pantone colour system. Described as a drab dark brown and informally dubbed the "ugliest colour in the world", it was selected in 2012 as the colour for plain tobacco and cigarette packaging in Australia, after market researchers determined that it was the least attractive colour.
Red can trigger anxiety in many people, and is known to be one of the most stressful colors to decorate with.
Nervous Colors
Also known as cool colors, they're often linked to fear and anxiety. The typical nervous colors include gray, purple, and blue.
BLUE. Blue symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth and heaven. It is the color of the sky.
Yellow is usually the color of happy, joyful emotions.
'Generally, the warm tones of yellow, and orange, warm lavenders and blues, such as periwinkle and warm red or warm pink are associated with happiness. '
The results of the RGB colour model revealed that guilt was most commonly associated with red, black, green, and violet colours. However, the colours of immoral behaviours were much darker than the colours of environmentally unfriendly behaviours.
Yellow has diverse meanings across cultures and continents: Europe: In France, yellow signifies yellow signifies jealously, betrayal, weakness, and contradiction.
Black Colors
Black is the hallmark color of sadness. In western cultures, this is one of the sad colors associated with mourning, hence why people wear black to funerals and when they are in mourning. Black also brings up feelings of sadness and fear.
Most often, warm colors (yellow, red, and orange) are considered to be positive colors, while cool colors (blue, green, and purple) are considered to be negative.
