Garp's Haki isn't a single color but manifests differently; his powerful Armament Haki (Busoshoku Haki) coats his fists in a shiny, obsidian black when hardened to strike opponents, especially effective against rubbery bodies like Luffy's, but his advanced techniques can show hints of fiery red or black lightning in clashes, while his Conqueror's Haki (Haoshoku Haki) typically appears as a dark aura or black lightning when clashing with other top-tier users.
Other One Piece characters channel this power through objects or combine it with their Devil Fruit capabilities. However, Garp infuses it directly into his fists, which means that his Conqueror's Haki and his fists are strong enough to reach the same level as Conqueror's Haki with Devil Fruits or with weapons.
The rarest Haki in One Piece is widely considered to be Haoshoku Haki (Conqueror's Haki), an ability only one in millions are born with, allowing them to overpower the will of others and knock out the weak, with advanced forms like infusion and Observation Killing (used by Shanks) being even rarer. While Armament and Observation Haki can be learned, Conqueror's Haki is a genetic trait of "kings" and "chosen ones," making it exceptionally rare, though its advanced uses are only starting to be revealed in the story.
However, it looks like there is a fourth Haki, which is so rare that it can only be used by Dracule Mihawk and Monkey D. Dragon, the leader of The Revolutionary Forces.
Oda originally colored it black, the anime decided to give G4 a red tint. My guess is it's just a design choice and there's not much more to it than that. Oda seemed to like it though, as he did later color snakeman that way (and Katakuri with a blue tint). But initially it was just an anime thing.
Zoro's green haki is Conqueror's haki, colored green to differentiate it from others. Ashura is a manifestation of his will, an illusion he generates, he doesn't actually grow multiple arms and faces.
As an awakened Mythical Zoan based on a God, Luffy is afforded immense strength, speed, and durability in Gear 5 that outclass the physical enhancement granted by most Zoan powers, including awakened ones, as well as his own Gear 4.
Kaidou's haki is considered to be quite potent, titling him as the World's Strongest Creature. Kaidou's Observation Haki enables him to sense the potential of his foe. To illustrate, Kaidou was quick to realize the potential of Zoro and Luffy, thereby understanding their power and dodging attacks that could injure him.
Short Summary. When Luffy beats Bacura, the panther executioner, he goes to fight Boa Marigold and Boa Sandersonia. Boa Sandersonia plays with the statue of Marguerite to cause Luffy pain. Luffy then unleashes the very rare and strong Supreme King Haki which surprises the crowd and the Boa sisters.
Conquerors haki is the rarest of the three types as only small amounts of people are born with it. Plus the strength of one's will determines the force they can unleash upon those of weaker wills. Its not exactly rare when it comes to Marines. More of they havent been shown that much of screen time versus pirates.
Donquixote Doflamingo is the captain of the Donquixote Pirates, whose current executives notably started following him at a young age specifically because he possessed Supreme King Haki.
Haki. Joy Boy was one of the very few people in the world who wielded Supreme King Haki. The power of his Haki is monstrous, as the giants Dorry and Brogy considered his Supreme King Haki to be more powerful than that of Shanks', though they noted they sensed no hostility from it.
Despite its great capabilities, the Haki in a person's body is not limitless and it can be depleted from overuse, rendering the user unable to use it for a set period of time while it regenerates.
Garp can beat Gear 5 with low effort.

Yes he does. He used his conqueror haki knockout some bluejam pirates.
Luffy will surpass Roger, that's 100% true, but he won't become the strongest in the verse. So many people think Blackbeard is Luffy's final opponent, but that's not true. The final war is already shown in the manga, and it's about the whole world going against the World Government.
He had an active bounty on his head, and mentioning him was enough to put the Marines on high alert. Thus, if Rayleigh had taken in Ace, he would have placed an innocent child directly in the same dangers that his father, Roger, had been trying to protect him from.
Haki: Boa Hancock is one of the few characters in One Piece who can use all three types of Haki (Observation, Armament, and Conqueror's), granting her enhanced physical abilities and the ability to anticipate and counter attacks.
